The map below shows an overview of the road networks across china. It is clearly understandable from the graph that eastern part of China is mostly covered through a huge networks and channels of roads and highways. Contrarily, the western parts of China are still to be developed though roads and highway networks. The differences are based on the fact that the eastern parts being close to the sea act as the main hub for transportation of tradable goods as most of the transportation is carried out through the sea routes and harbors. The freight of tradable goods has increased enormously in recent years and thus the economic activities and burden on the harbors and hubs have also increased to a huge extent. As a result, the need for utilization of other means of transportation network in order to support and bridge the increased pressure on the sea port is on top priority for the government of China.
The figure below represents summary of the main transportation routes across China:

Roads and highways are the primary mode of transport and freight of the export and import goods within and outside the country. Over the years, the exports and trade of China has shown a steady increase and similarly when the data of roads and highways are analyzed the trend presents similar positive flow. Based on the data of NBS of China, it can be assumed that there is a somehow strong relationship between the length of
Transportation financial matters, the investigation of the portion of transportation assets keeping in mind the end goal to address the issues of a general public. In a macroeconomic sense, transportation exercises shape a part of a country's aggregate financial item and assume a part in building or reinforcing a national or local economy and as an impact in the advancement of area and different assets. In a microeconomic sense, transportation includes relations in the middle of firms and individual buyers. The interest for and supply of transportation for both travelers and cargo, transportation evaluating, and the reasons why the transportation framework is both managed and deregulated are among its worries. With the constrained scenario, traffic flow has improved, commute time has decreased, workers are getting to their places of business faster, and the businesses themselves are finding that they can transport their goods in a more timely fashion. The measures that were employed consist of adding directional bike lanes to the bridge, restriping the bridge combined with timed directional transition of the middle 5th lane, additional bus routes, and converting old buildings into domiciles. Although these measures have helped to improve traffic flow in the region, capital will have to be spent at a future date in order to add additional

Container vessels, 18-wheelers, boxcars: these are probably the first things that come to mind when we think of freight. While ships, trucks, and railroads are some of the most significant components of freight, very complex systems and networks are also in place to support moving the goods that businesses and consumers want and need to nearly every corner on the planet. Of course, without actual goods, there is nothing to move, leading experts to refer to freight activities as goods movement.

Now I’ll tell you about the geography of China. On the east of China there are two bodies of water, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea. Then in the Southeast corner of China there is the South China Sea. In the Southwest corner is India. Sharing with India on its borders there is the Himalaya Mt. and within them is Mt. Everest which is one of the biggest mountains in the world. Coming from the east, the Yangzi River flows in and stops right around the center of China. Above it is the Huang He River that flows on the same direction the Yangzi River does. The top center of China is the Gobi Desert. There are many more geography than this but here are just some that I chose to talk about.
Railways, as well as roads, are crucial inventions not only from the perspective of the governmental prosperity but also from the individuals' conveniences. While some people claim that the authorities should assign a budget for improvement of railways, others assert that a capital has to be allocated to roads system. In my opinion, both railroads and highways have significant advantages. Therefore, the officials should assign money in a balanced way.

Physical geography has shaped China’s history through major rivers allowing new transportation, mountains dividing culture, along with plateaus creating sustainable farm land. Rivers have been a key characteristic of the development of Chinese civilization. A major river in China, the Yellow River has been able to support a major transportation and shipping artery throughout the country. This has allowed for the bringing of materials and people to new locations. Mountains have been able to separate different ethnic groups and tribes which have created different religions and rituals in China. This has led to the formation of new traditions and differences based on location. The Loess Plateau is a major geographical feature in China which has
The evolution of the freeway, highway, and interstate all have the same common ancestor, The Bundesautobahn. Commonly known as just the “Autobahn”. This form of motorway dates all the way back to the 1930’s. Before and during WWII, the
The development of every nation hinges on the effectiveness of their transportation systems. Movement of goods, services and people to and from work is made possible by transportation systems. The importance of effective transportation systems cannot be over-emphasized. A lot of countries are facing Transportation problems and my country Ghana is no exception. A trip of about 30 minutes can take about an hour or more due to traffic jams. This is seriously impacting productivity and has been a topical issue in the country. The situation is the same in Uganda where I currently work. To this end, Transportation Engineers are needed to design roads/ highways that will stand the test of time, plan effective traffic management systems to reduce travel
Initially, there is the mode of land transportation. Roads, rails and pipelines fall under this category. These land logistics are very important because they extend the delivery services for air and water transport from airports and seaports. The main transport mode of land logistics are railway, road freight and pipeline transport. The advantage of railway transport is that it has carrying capacity and lower influences by weather conditions
* Physical infrastructure like roads, highways and bridges affect the use of automobiles. Better these infrastructures better will be the growth opportunities in this sector.
