Based on content described above, what theories (rules, laws, principles, or patterns) are you able to identify? From the training I received the patterns that I was able to identify were starting with the upcoming lesson for the week was announced on Sunday after every class reviewed what they have learned from the week’s Sunday school lesson. Then I would write in my notes what scriptures the lesson will be coming from and also the pastor gives a little overview of the lesson so I utilize this time to jot down the key points to use as a reference for later on. My pattern for studying is Monday- Thursday two hours each day for a total of eight hours and then on Friday would attend the training session so that every aspect of what I am doing will be on track for Sunday. This is the pattern that has worked well for me. I have tried different methods like cramming a day before our training day on Friday completely embarrassed myself and did not give the children my full effort into teaching them that they deserved I felt like had let them down. And that is why I stick with this …show more content…
For example, when I first considered teaching the children I was nervous to stand in front of the church and be sworn in because I was supposed to encourage parents to get more involved in Sunday school and also bring their children that I may teach them. When the time arrived I was so nervous that I stumbled over my words, my voice cracked, almost had a panic attack. Even though they clapped and commended me for taking on that role I felt so embarrassed that I did not want to even teach. So after I attended the training sessions I started to feel confident to speak in front of the church without feeling like a panic attack was about to
I use free periods through the day, study halls, and the occasional late night study session to allow myself to achieve both academic success as well as the time to participate in all my activities.

Creating a study plan and planning my time realistically I think could improve the effectiveness of my studying sessions. Also studying effectively I can improve on. Last week I talked about concentration and all the barriers in my life that effect my studying. I think those barriers decrease how effective my studying is. Therefore I want to go to the quiet study zone in the library at school as much as I can to hopefully get more out of my studying. In the Nurse Tim Student Success Six Pack video on test prep the speaker discussed short studying sessions to be highly effective. I tend to sit and study for hours rather than short times. Short study sessions are supposed to help to retain information better. I will try and implement short study
(2.3) Throughout the session I posed and received questions on all parts of the session including the preliminary points. I listened to the entire question and ensuring that I understood before giving a considered answer. Further emphasis was placed on the learners to ask questions by adding the point to the ground rules during the preliminary stage of the session. After giving an answer I further backed up the answer by restating the initial information from the PowerPoint. Prior to advancing a slide a further opportunity was given for the learners to ask questions. Although no further needs were stated within my session I feel that I would have been able to adapt the session as necessary if required
One of my first experiences that I can remember is when my Grandmother was having a book signing. I had to introduce her to the audience. Telling all of these people that I did not know, who she was, what she wrote, and why she was having a book signing. At 13, this was an unusual experience but because of my Grandmother’s inspiration, hard work and exceptional gift in poetry, I knew that I needed to do this for her, as well as for myself. Having spoken in front of a crowd like this has boosted my self confidence remarkably, it made me come out of my shy shell and become more outspoken. I felt that if I could overcome that fear, I could overcome anything making myself prepared for everything that came my

11) Describe what you learned about yourself and your professional development from feedback given by your peers in the small group exercises.
These positions that I currently hold is not something I would expect myself to hold. I used to be a shy girl, who was terrified of public speaking and large crowds. My face would have turned bright red when I was called by a teacher. I still am, but with God’s help, I am always able to respond and represent my clubs without anxiety. God has truly provided. There were many times, I regretted having these responsibilities that are skill demanding and “time consuming.” Psalms 32:8 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” God always lead us into paths and circumstances that will prepare us for the future. I am still unsure what situations, circumstances, and positions that I have experienced and hold in my life as a college student would help me in the future, but I am trusting Him in his supernatural strength and wisdom to lead me through these trials each
Answers To The Questions Answer 1 Over the past few years, I have overcome many challenges. But the one that stands out in my mind the most occurred this past summer while I was working as trainer of Microsoft Windows 2003. It was really a different and a new situation for me as this was the first time I was involved in training like this. I started with the Installation and configuration of Windows Server 2003. Trained them how to install different application software and how to use different software through the friendly environment of the new operating system. Regarding all the above I was also asked questions which I handled it very easily as I knew the inside out of the operating system. Overall it was a great experience being a trainer. The characteristics that had a direct impact on the success of the instruction were: The User-friendly environment of windows 2003. The main security features of the operating system. Last but not the least, the powerful and convincing training. Definitely this training would be effective in the E-Education environment because the new generation as well as the current one has the need to get aware of the new technologies that are being introduced in the IT world and these kind of trainings would definitely help them to broaden their view about computer technology and the intercommunication of the world as world has become the global village, so people need to get trained to use the computer technologies to become the member of the
In eighth grade, my teacher had my class choose a topic for a speech and then present it in front of the class. When it was time to give my speech, I was nervous because I disliked public speaking. I gave my speech and the teacher applauded me for my praiseworthy work. After being praised for my speech, I instantly knew that I would not be nervous to give a speech the next time in class. At that time, I can recall feeling excited to get started on my next speech. Even today, I get thrilled when I am told to give a speech in front of the class because it makes me feel as if I am the teacher. This affected me back then because it made me want to participate in a classroom activity that I normally did not enjoy doing. In the near future, I want to praise my students for their work so that they are excited to do activities in class, which is why this memory will impact me as a teacher.
