Eunice, The prospectus you presented distinctly states how you intend to tackle the problem, the significance of the topic, your understanding of the literature, the present state of the issue, and how you plan to argue your case. Additionally, you clearly indicated how you will resolve the central question or problem and your proposed line of argument in a logically developed order. All the best! Lindiwe
An outline of how you might present the findings in order to persuade stakeholders to act on the results. (4.2) Explain the importance of using an appropriate mix of diagrammatic and narrative formats (4.3)
The Language Lab on page 72 of Thank You for Arguing directs us to give a proposal consisting of three parts: payoffs, doability, and superiority. The directions, in short, tell to show the benefits of your idea, express the simplicity of it and explain how it is the superior option. I attempted a proposal with these three components on my mother.
That first night at the barracks changed Eva’s life forever, and it changed her way of thinking. She remembers how tired she was and yet not being able to sleep that night, turning to count a handful of large moving figures on the ground. When she had gotten to 5 she jumped up screaming “MICE! MICE!” to which another girl in a top bunk looked over responding “silly girl. Those are not mice those are rats. And you better get used to them because they are everywhere,” and she was right, they were everywhere. Realizing that they wouldn’t be able to fall asleep the two girls settled on taking a trip to the latrine in an attempt to clear their heads. Neither of them could have expected what they saw. As Eva walked into the bathroom she saw the bodies
The expansion to the West in the 19th century was an interesting and incredible time. As the Eastern population of the United States grew, people expanded to the West in search of opportunity. Over population created a lack of jobs and land, so emigration westward was appealing for many. People from many walks of life traveled west and each one experienced their time on the trail a different way. These personal journals and diaries gave historians a glance at what the western frontier was really like during that time frame. These personal accounts showcase the attitudes, concerns and the everyday lives of different travelers.
Paragraph 1: Must briefly explain the issue and state your position on it (do not present any reasons).
I found an extremely inspiring article that discusses a young woman from Long Island, New York, who received acceptance correspondences from all eight Ivy League schools as well as several others. Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna, 18 has excelled in her academics throughout her childhood and adolescence. Her parents stressed the importance of education to her throughout her childhood since they were both college educated. Uwamanzu-Nna stated, that her school days lasted approximately 13 hours not including all of the extra tasks she had to accomplish such as homework.
This journal is about the trial about miss may Ella being taken advantage of. I do not believe the thing she has said so far in the courtroom because she has to take a second to think about her answers so she doesn’t get caught. I don’t believe that he had rapped May Ella for many reasoned because he is a man who is a wonderful person who just wants to help. Robinson has a arm that doesn’t work because he got it caught in a cotton gin and it will barley stay on the book he had to pledge on.
It should make the points in a clear and concise way, preferably written in point form and in a straightforward language, easy for everyone to understand. If the local community living in the area generally speak a different language to the main one spoken in school, for example Urdu, it could be helpful if the prospectus were to be available in that language too. It should be easy to retrieve from different places e.g. at the school, on the internet or possibly from the local library. It would also be of some benefit if the literature were to be available as an audio recording for those people with
Reporter stated the following: Cortez has been living with Felicia since September 4th, 2015 when his mom dropped him off. Felicia and Cortez had seen the mom for the first time on last Tuesday. The mom came and got him on last Tuesday and dropped him off on Thanksgiving Day. The mom has custody. The mom does not want Cortez and it is unknown why. Felicia said the mom is refusing to sign over guardianship because she does not want to lose her benefits. The mom does not want to lose her place to live but she does not want Cortez. Roosevelt (dad) signed over guardianship to Felicia but the mom did not. However, the mom signed over guardianship to her other child’s (unknown) father. If the mom gives up Cortez she will not receive benefits. The

Thieke’s (2013) article states, Journalists and businesspeople aren’t all that different from each other, much as we like to think they are. Both have the same goal: to persuade and influence. (No editor, producer or journalist will admit to this, of course. They’ll say that it’s the truth they’re after. But they do influence, whether intentionally or not.) And she lists what distinguishes a journalist from the business, according to her journalist have a strong code of ethics while the business respond to their customer and or owners.
From Figure 7.3 Eunoia’s two options from the competitive composition gave us market development and product development we can see that they both came close with respectively a 5.27 and 5.20 on the scale the market development was the most recommended choice. Market development seems like a good fit for the small business as it is just in the infant stages of development and it is important to reach those main demographics and potential new markets for growth and expansion. Product development would be good towards The EO Fairy for potentially expanding the essential oil accessory line.
The introduction of the proposal should be one complete page long and will most likely be divided into two paragraphs. Notice that the section headings (Table of Contents, Abstract, Introduction, etc.) are still formatted in Times New Roman, 12 point font. Titles, cover pages, and section headings do not need to be in oversized font, but these may be bolded or underlined to create a separation between the heading and the text. Also, notice that the section heading appears on the first line and the text begins on the second line (extra space and/or skipped lines should not be present). The introduction will give more details about the problem that the proposal solution will address. While the problem was identified in the letter of transmittal and the abstract of the proposal, this section will allow for more details to be identified about the exact problem. The reader should have a complete understanding of exactly what led the author to write this proposal. This will be the only place that the problem will be discussed in detail and may include data or statistics related to the problem. Ideally, this portion of the proposal should not include any figures, tables, or illustrations. Instead, those can be utilized in the body of the proposal to explain the solution plan and benefits.
