Stakeholder Perspective
This perspective focuses on seeking and determining the target segments based on the expectation of stakeholders, which will be the guideline to improve the performance of the company. Additionally, the company should consider about the different interests of the different stakeholder groups to identify the appropriate objectives (Kaplan &Norton 2006). The main objectives for this perspectives are:
• Build an environment- image
• Improve product quality (high quality and sustainable products)
• Reduce the negative impacts on environment during manufacture and transportation process
• Follow and engage with the activities related to Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR)
In recent years, when the concept of sustainability is raising up, there is high percentage of customers who aware about the green products (Rather & Rajendran 2014), they do not only consider about the product or

The availability of the sustainability product is important for WML if they would like the customer to purchase their new product lines (Joshi & Rahman 2015).
Learning and Growth
The learning and growth perspective focus on the necessary infrastructure in many areas of the company to achieve the other three perspectives as well as the sustainable development and growth of the company (F. Figge et al 2002). To offer the benefit to consumers and stakeholders in a global competitive market, it is essential for the company to enhance their competencies (Kaplan & Norton 2006). Therefore, the objectives, WML has to focus on as follow:
• Improve the skill and knowledge of the employee via training and testing.
• Build and apply sustainability concept in the company
The environment is among some of the top issues to be looked upon by the human population in the world today. Sustainability is a word often times used when speaking of this subject. This is a concept represented in the articles “Sustainability” by Christian R. Weisser and “Attention Whole Foods Shoppers” by Robert Paarlberg. Each author addresses the issue in different ways; one giving examples of this issue and the other clearly defining it. Each author is writing to spread awareness of this issue. As overlapping topics, each article has similarities and differences to the other.
In the end , a Learning –and –growth perspective will be necessary for Norwalk ,during the entire progress of Norwalk for developing a Balanced scordcard ,it is not difficult to find out that the employee capabilities even the manager’s capabilities need to be improved and training effectively because the Learning –and –growth perspective identifies the capabilities the organisation must excel at to achieve superior internal processes that create value for customers and shareholder, and this perspective can strengthen Norwalk ’s entire competing ability within the industry.
Stakeholders can have interests, opinions and views who are formed from the businesses aims and objectives.
Another argument often used against sustainable entrepreneurship is the price increase of products. Opponents claim that customers will choose for a low price instead of for a more expensive, though sustainable and green product or service. And of course this assumption may apply to some products; on the other hand, opponents seem to completely ignore the increasing awareness of new values of the modern educated customer. It is not enough any more for a product or service to just meet traditional business criteria, such as functionality, quality, fashion and price. Nowadays, people who can afford it in the developed world expect at least a basic level of sustainability of the products they buy as well as of their manufacturers. Research shows that almost 75 percent of the customers indicate that there is too little background information about products and services (Lageweg et al., par.5). Providing reliable and clear information about sustainability maywill benefit for the competitiveness of many organizations. I believe tThe market for sustainable products and services will continue to grow and someoon customers will simply refuse to purchase things ifof which the origin is not known as education increases across the world.
(M1) Explain the points of view of different stakeholders seeking to influence the aims and objectives of two contrasting organisations
The learning and growth perspective uses the organization’s resources to adapt to the changing wants and needs of customers. The organizations must ask itself whether it can continue to improve and create value for its customers (Kinney and Raiborn 2013, 11). An organization’s ability to innovate and improve their products or services directly affects its value. An organization can create economic growth by developing new products and services, improving existing products and services, and developing more efficient operations (Kaplan and Norton January/February 1992, 75).
Nowadays, we are facing a major experiment in privatization. For example, private companies have entered the business of managing public schools, or religious schools. Also, they even run in prison industry. Among them is Private Prison Corporation of America, which is growing fast in prison industry in the United States. Especially, immigration detention business has brought up massive profit for Private Prison of America. Therefore, corporation is planning to join other private prison corporations by making campaign donation and retaining lobbyist to draft and seek the passage of two laws about anti-illegal immigrant and the Intensive Probation Act that will increase opportunities to do
As previously stated, people from the general pubic will be invited to address their opinions, whether it is supporting or opposing the policy. It is important for the stakeholders to hear each person’s ideas and concerns in order to better develop the policy and address consequences that were not identified earlier. Stakeholders should research and examine the status of other states that conduct or did conduct drug screening and testing for public assistance. They should modify and develop solutions for the obstacles other states experienced, specifically addressing how they will not violate human rights and the fourth amendment. This would be a great topic to gain guidance from the elected government officials and legislatures to ensure resolutions are properly developed as well as gain knowledge on how drug testing should be implemented from the health departments. The government officials in the promotion team should lobby the policy to other members of the Illinois House of Representatives and Illinois Senate and provide them with the policy fact sheet. The fact sheet should be displayed throughout communities to provide another method for residents to read and understand the purpose of the policy. It can also reassure Illinois taxpayers that their tax money will go to people who truly need it and to people who are drug
Sustainability has become a great topic of interest in many arenas. Particularly, leading organizations are recognizing sustainability needs to be an essential aspect of their long term strategies. With this recognition, better business practices are being sought by investors as well as sustainability is becoming a driving force for better efficiencies and innovation. Two organizations, Wal-Mart and Starbucks, have both took on sustainability as long term initiatives to address their customer needs and affect how their suppliers operate.
Especially, it should be determined that how these stakeholders are influencing the objectives and development of an organization.
Stakeholders are people or groups with interest in an organization that can affect or be affected by the organization itself, its objectives, or its policies (BusinessDictionary, 2015). Each stakeholder brings their own perspective to the table based on their relationship with the organization (e.g. internal or external role), their level of experience, and their area of expertise about the subject matter they are involved with. At a high level, the list of stakeholders for any organization could include people or groups such as: customers, employees, government agencies, suppliers, unions, community resources, shareholders, and business owners. For the purpose of this assignment, I will discuss and review stakeholders relative to the
In food service it is important to realize and address hot button issues within the industry to begin to understand what the target market wants, increase revenue and decrease cost centers. In researching the increasingly pressing issue of food sustainability in global food service it was discovered that implementations are initially expensive and require large amounts of dedication but are ultimately huge factors in increasing brand loyalty and recognition and gaining popularity within the “green” market segment. It was the goal of this paper to outline specific concerns posed by the issue of food sustainability as well as methods of the industry’s participation in its solutions and to analyze the progress made to increase awareness of

On your weekly trip to the supermarket it’s easy to find a number of products, from coffee to dishwashing soap, that flaunt their green attributes” (American Psychological Association, 2010). With such rumors of greenwashing, consumers are more confused than ever. However, some consumers know the tricks and are coming to find that there are companies whose marketing practices are legit, not exaggerated or deceiving. APA also found that, “people are willing to spend more of their hard-earned green on green products, according to a 2008 survey of 9,000 adults performed by the global business firm Boston Consulting Group” (American Psychological Association, 2010). Consumers who are willing to pay more for a product or service are assuming that they are purchasing a healthier, safer, and better quality product or service for the environment.
One of the leading companies that adopted CSR as a pioneer of ethic is The Body Shop. The company has used CSR as a competitive strategy in order to succeed in business. The shop owner knows what she does best. So, products are developed based on a specific group of customers in order to create a strong brand preferences and unique way with a perception of enormous customer groups, called sustainability ideals. The source of The Body Shop success is to utilize the benefits of CSR by selling products based on natural ingredients, paying a fair price and no testing on animal. According to porter (1985), he claimed that sustainability of differentiation depends on two things: "it is continued perceived value to buyers and the lack of competitor ability to imitate it" (Porter 1985 cited in Mallin 2009, p.71). It requires a transparency of work process with stakeholders. From this example, it explains why CSR is important to modern businesses like The Body Shop (Mallin 2009, pp.59-78),(Kwapong 2005, p.89).
