Ela-Vernon East was the second school in the Ela-Vernon Township High School District with district offices in Lake Zurich. Because of the growing disagreement between Ela-Vernon West and Ela-Vernon East, current Stevenson, about the direction the school should take, Adlai E. Stevenson High School was born in November 1965. The school was to open as a school for freshman and sophomores living in the area. Honestly ever since I was two years old I have been in water, and learned how to swim at around three. I had not learned anything about swimming in Wheeling High School and I can prove that I did not benefit from the swimming sessions. I had already known survival techniques such as not panicking in water and floating on my back to save energy. I already had common sense of not using drugs because I could drown. I had known that many college students go to Lake Michigan at night and die because they can't see or are drunk. To be honest I knew all of these rules but feel maybe Wheeling high school had re-emphasized all of them. I will try to use these techniques at my pool in Florida and continue to teach others how to swim.
Eisenhower High School has shaped me into the women that I am today. At first, the transfer from private to public middle school was difficult. I did not know what to expect from public schooling. Immediately, I was met with friendly faces and extraordinary teachers. When the time came for me to decide if I would attend a private high school or Eisenhower High School I didn’t hesitate on my decision. Since my first day walking through the newly renovated Eisenhower halls, I knew I had found my home for the next four years.

Being a student of Greenbrier High School I have lots of opinions that the school could change for better or worse. Now I know that my opinion doesn’t matter to the school and to the faculty. Many times there are searches of student lockers and backpacks along with the student being there in person. Most of the time the people that get searched are the ones that look suspicious. Also are the people that are known for doing drugs. So attracting attention is one main way to get searched. I believe that it does keep people safe. It helps know we are
School is the place where students go to receive education. Currently, I am a junior at Diamond Bar High School. Although some might think that DBHS is a school without flaws, there are issues with the teachers here. As illustrated through their lack of coordination with each other, lack of familiarizing student with the AP tests, and lack if personal connection with the students. There are certainly changes that need to be made. It is vital that the flaws of DBHS be corrected.
Do administrators of schools every see the child's? Does suspension increase dropout rates? Is there ever a since of justice for the child? Since schools first came to be they have always suspended students without questioning or reasoning in a comfortable environment.Although school suspension is way for the child to be isolated and think about what they have done, schools should get rid of school suspension because this makes the student feel as though there voice is being heard in the matter, since the student is in a more safe and cozy environment the student will reveal what happened, this will prevent higher dropout and school suspension rates.

Wheaton College is a Protestant affiliated, predominately white, institution of higher education, located in the western Chicago suburb of Wheaton, IL. The liberal arts college was officially established in 1860 by the abolitionist, pastor, Jonathan Blanchard, and named after the founder of the town, Warren L. Wheaton (Betchel, 1984). Wheaton College’s mission was originally dedicated to the values of abolition, temperance, and serving Christ (Betchel, 1984). In modern day, Wheaton has narrowed its mission to focus on serving Christ and “advanc[ing] His Kingdom through excellence in liberal arts and graduate programs” (WHEATON’). Wheaton is still known as a prestigious, Christian college, recognized for its commitment to academics and faith.
Central High School, formally known as Dunbar High School, was a very successful school established in 1947 by the Mobile Board of School commissioners. This new school served as an inner city high school to give blacks an opportunity to better themselves as well as their community. Being a wildcat during this time not only implied that you went to Central High, but that you were an individual looking to accomplish your goals to become a better version of yourself. Dr. Benjamin F. Baker, Jonathan T. Gains, and all of their staff took pride in the school, and looked to obtain mentor style relationships with all of the students.

Closed lunch at Seaman High School should be modified to an open lunch hour. Currently, Seaman High School has a closed policy for lunch which basically means that students are not allowed to exit the building to pick up lunch during their regularly scheduled lunch hour; as well as have lunch delivered to them at the high school. I as well as many high students argue against this policy and would like to have it changed. In fact, the closed lunch policy has been an on going topic that students as well as parents have brought before the Board of Education at their regularly scheduled board meetings. During the public communications section of the school board meeting, students and parents have debated the
