The Renaissance period was from roughly the 14th century to the 17th century of the common era (CE) beginning in Italy later spreading throughout Europe. The word Renaissance comes from the original Italian word "Rinascimento" or "rinascere" which means "to be reborn" according to Harper (2012).

Another characteristic of this period is the lack of distinct or realistic perspective in renderings. Michelangelo was one of the first artist who pioneered the Mannerism at the Laurentian Library in Florence Italy according to Britannica (2012). One such painting that employed the Mannerism characteristics such as eroticism and obscure imagery is the "Madonna with the Long Neck" painted by Girolamo Francesco Maria Mazzola, also known as Parmigianino (Artble, 2012). In 1520 the humanistic model of the classical Renaissance such as the serenity, beauty, and order began to break down as a negative world view began to emerge due to machinations and wars of Spain, France, and the Holy Roman Empire. (Ozarks, 2012)
Both paintings represent the Madonna (the Virgin Mary) with the baby Jesus on her lap. In the previous painting, the arch vault and throne on which the mother is seated is stylized very realistically along with the saints surrounding them are all in proportion to themselves and to each other. In the later painting the pose of the Madonna is elongated and exaggerated, the baby in the later painting is quite large and the angels in the picture are crammed to one side with a "prophet" on the opposite which is very small not coming up to the Madonna's knee.

Mr.Green says that the Renaissance was the rebirth after all the terrible things that happened throughout the dark ages of the 14th century Europe. The Renaissance happened during the 15th and 16th century in Europe but mostly in Italy. It supposedly ushered Europe into the modern era of rationality, secularism, and individualism. The Italian Renaissance was one of the most colorful, vital, and exciting times in history. Renaissance eventually comes from the French word "Renaistre," meaning "to be born again." The Renaissance was a revival or a rebirth of cultural awareness and learning among art, law, language, literature, philosophy, science, and mathematics. This period took place between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries. The Renaissance in Italy flourished in the 15th century and spread throughout most of Europe in the 16th century.
The Renaissance was a cultural movement in the 14th to 17th centuries during which European artists, scientists, and scholars, were inspired by classical achievements of the Greeks and Romans. Many scholars believe that the Renaissance was a separate period of time from the Middle Ages, however, some still believe that the Renaissance was just a continuation of the Middle Ages. The Renaissance is a distinct period of time due to the revival of education, scientific discovery and humanism.
Never events are serious medical errors that are often preventable. When such events transpire, it is necessary to fully assess the situation so that these errors can be prevented in the future. Root cause analysis (RCA) is a tool employed by healthcare facilities to analyze adverse events and the systems that lead to them.
In the late 18th century when the Industrial Revolution started to spread from England to other countries such as France, Spain and Germany and even in the U.S, the changes that its dynamic brought to the society were drastic and radically different of what people were used to until then. The work hours become longer; young children and their parents were working most of the time; new factories opened up and old villages now were the main workforce source to keep the production level up to the demand and supply requests. Villages started turning into urban centers, crowded by large number of people; poor people that

In Paris in the late 19th century (1874-1882), several artists who called themselves the Anonymous Society of Painters, Sculptors, Printmakers, etc. organized an exhibit that launched the movement called Impressionism. These artists, such as Eduoard Manet, Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, and Mary Cassatt, sparked worldwide following and revolutionized Western conceptions of painting. Appearing to other artists to be a group, these independent painters with quite diverse artistic approaches, were only unified in their rejection by the official annual Salon (the Académie des Beaux-Arts which is a French academic organization that

In early 19th century, the French government controlled the academies and salons of paintings. The impressionism took place in second half of 19th century, which was results of French artists rejecting the traditional government sanctioned academic painting that was dominating their arts at the time. The first independent art exhibition was held in 1874 for one month. Few of the famous artists’ who participated and help organize this exhibition was Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Pierre-Auguste Renior, Edgar Degas and Camille Pissarro along with 25 other artists. The Renaissance had a profound part in the development of modern thinking, technology and art. The Renaissance influenced America to what it is today. The Renaissance way of thinking was based more on humanism and less on religion. That resulted in a newer way of thinking than the church's way of thinking. Before the Renaissance all thinking was geared towards religion in some way.
The Renaissance is the rebirth of Europe, and considered as the beginning of modern history. In this era of time, people looked back and studied the Greek and Roman knowledge, skills, attitude, and art, while stepping out of the Middle Ages artwork techniques and creating new techniques to breathe realism, individualism, humanism, mannerism, and more into the art. The Middle Ages artwork majorly focussed on the religious aspect of the art, leaving out the techniques to make the art look realistic. However, the Renaissance artwork used many new techniques that they developed, like chiaroscuro, the use of light and shading, to create an effect that the Middle Ages artwork had not seen before. The art shows how the Renaissance evolved from focussing

We all are well aware of what the Renaissance is : a great cultural period of time in Italy, that has started in the northern city state known as Florentine Republic. The actual word “Renaissance” means “the Rebirth” of the art, which is pretty self-explanatory: paintings, sculptures, architecture at the time were amazing, helping to finally awaken the Italian peninsula from the deep sleep it has fallen into during the Dark Ages and the spreading of Black Death. “The Rebirth” took place from 14th to 16th century, and as stated by Joanne Cannon in her studies journal on the Renaissance, period from 13th to 14th century was called “The Dawn of the renaissance”(Cannon, 1).
