I have only been attending Cleveland State University for two semesters, and as this course comes to an end I feel like I grown and learned many techniques more than ever. I came to Cleveland State University with only my high school knowledge on how to format an argumentative essay, and throughout this course I now know how to write and format many other papers. Taking English 100 has taught me how to break down and analyze an article, it taught me how to find confidence in my work, and it helped me grow to an even better writer.

I struggling on how to properly write a rhetorical analysis paper. I struggled with this paper so much because I never had to write anything like this ever. I could not grasp the idea of using logos, pathos and ethos and trying to interpret those rhetorical strategies into how an author used them. However, I was able to easily write a summary paper. However, I believe that my argumentative essay is my strongest essay. I believe that my argumentative essay is my strongest essay in my portfolio because I am so use to writing a paper similar to this that it came second nature to me when I began to write it. I also believe that this is my strongest essay because this was the first time I properly used transition words and phrases throughout my entire essay. For instance, my conclusion flowed perfectly right into the next sentence, “Thus, the thought of using a cellular device while driving is not the worst thing do to while operating a vehicle.
