Return Of The Outsiders I comfortably drive my car into the desolate street, Perusing the deserted buildings, Smashes windows and rusted For Sale signs. The car locked up like Fort Knox. I observe the street for trouble. Two young boys look at me from afar as if I'm an alien. Do I stand out that much same greasy hair, expensive clothes, a smart car I suppose I am out of my comfort zone? “Mister, you don’t belong here” his hand gripped his switch. “Pony.... Ponyboy Curtis” I stammer “I live here or at least I did, I'm here to see two-bit’ The Boys turn around “geez his old now” the boy's chirp. The boys stroll away in awe that they saw the great Ponyboy. Number 24, Two-Bits home. I told him I was arriving today but he’s been out of it for a while now. The grass annihilating everything else. My Two-bit I guess. Sweat rolling down my …show more content…
About time to relive the past, you better believe it ain't been the same without you, How about we meet up I think you know where don’t you… 7 pm DO NOT MAKE ME WAIT PONY!” Me and Two-Bit stand reliving the events from so long ago. We Bolted as fast as we could adrenaline coursing through our veins. Panting we Skid into the cemetery could I do this? The sun slowly setting, wind tormenting the trees. A shadowy figure looms over johnny's grave. “Do You know what you’ve done?” He booms. Revealing his face, It’s Darry “You killed Johnny and you killed Dally do feel remorse at all you coming back here denies everything I tried to forget. I fought in the war to forget what you did. I can't believe you even had the guts to get back here” Darry after years in the war he lost his mind, we used to talk all the time. Only slowly drifting apart, i thought it was normal for that to happen, but it’s not is it? Darry Fist flies towards me like a rocket the anger in his face boiling. His punch knocking me two the ground bruising my skin. “Stop Darry” Screams Two-Bit. His words meant nothing to
One day, cutting through the swamp, David comes across the remains of old Indian souls and discovers a skull with jewelry still buried on the bodies. As David kicks at the skull, he hears a voice and looks up to see a black man seated on a stump just looking. The man, wearing a black sash around his body, has a soot-stained face, which makes it appear as if he works in some fiery place. David soon recognizes the stranger as the devil, the black man. Twenty years later we had a family reunion with all my relatives and they started talking about the fire.
The morning sun is hidden behind a desolate gray sky. The temperatures are nearing frigid, despite the fact it’s August: always a month of sweltering heat in the District. An ashy flurry started sometime between Madge and Gale’s conversation and when they both had woken up.
“Some people say I was lucky to survive, other will say I deserved it for the choice I made. I’m here to say I was lucky, it’s never ok to say your life isn’t worth living even at your worst you can always look forward tomorrow will come and if you put your mind to it you’ll see that anything is possible.” – Stephen McGregor Professional Paralympian
Sunshine was pouring out from in between the buildings, casting shadows all around Ponyboy and the gang as they walked to Pony’s school. They were taking their time walking down the streets and for the first time they all were really seeing what was all around them. Memories were surfacing in their minds showing them what it all meant to them. With every step they took on the sidewalk they remembered a different memory as if they were walking down memory lane. Ponyboy didn’t think it was possible for him to be walking down this street for the last time as a high school student, but he had gone through the years with great grades that earned him many scholarships.
"Wake up, partners," the trail boss, James called. I sleepily looked up , shivered, and saw I was the only one not up. "Here," James said, giving me the horses' bridles and saddles. "Take these and get the horses ready. We have a long day today." I groaned in reply and set up the horses for the day's long drag. I was the horse wrangler and this was my everyday job but I still couldn't get use to the idea of waking up before the sun and working. We drove the cattle into open plains against the winter's cold wrath.
Back in the main level of the factory, Wolf and Fox find Hawk lying on the ground, pale and unresponsive, his bulletproof vest next to him and the edges of a red stain showing around a wad of gauze. A soldier that Fox assumes is N-Unit's medic kneels next to him, along with Snake and Coyote. The three medics are talking frantically among themselves. The rest of N-Unit hovers nervously nearby; the rest of H-Unit is nowhere to be seen. Dust particles dance through the beams of sunlight from the holes where windows used to be, giving the whole scene a strangely dreamy air.
Facing a life of misfortune and hardship, Dally’s only reason to live is for Johnny. Following Johnny’s death, Dally commits suicide as he no longer has a willpower to survive. However, Dally’s death does not come as an incredible surprise, and Ponyboy shows so when saying, “And even as the policemen’s guns spit fire into the night I knew that was what Dally wanted . . . [Dally] then slowly crumpled with a look of grim triumph on this face” (154).
After Johnny dies, Dally storms off from the hospital because he is distraught. He goes and robs a store for no apparent reason until Ponyboy says, “ He was dead before he hit the ground. But I knew that was what he wanted”(154). Dally pulls out an unloaded gun on the police even though he knows this will end up with the police killing. Dally makes rash decisions and does not put value into his life.
Even though Dally is tough he still recognizes Johnny and how he sacrificed himself for his friends and kids that he did not even know. When Johnny dies Dally falls down in tears and starts blaming Johnny for things in shock “That's what you get for helpin’ people” (p. 147). Dally is so upset that Johnny risked his life for the kids stuck in the
Katy meets with Gilbert down at the courthouse and sign documents with him and they hand them in to get stamped with photographers and their parents nearby. Their document is stamped with a void and a different document is put in an envelope and passed to Gilbert. He puts it in his pocket and tries to kiss Katy, but she quickly stepped away from him in fear.
Good. I touch the icon and drag it. Oh, it’s following my finger’s movement. Alright, let’s see… I drag it to the slot that indicates my right hand. Immediately, the bokutõ shows up on my hand with a quick white light.
“I’ll be down in a second!” I said to my parents who were impatiently waiting for me, but they should know by now that it is next to impossible to get me out the door on time. I’m surprised my mom hasn’t set back all the clocks in the house by ten minutes yet.
The movie The Outsiders is a very meaningful movie that everyone would love. The movie shows us that it is wrong to stereotype and be separated by classes like Socs and Greasers. The movie also shows that everyone is not who you think they are. Some Socs are actually nice and not all Greasers are a part of a hood. Which Ponyboy learns throughout the movie
“You’re right,” Lucifer began, “I don’t have it in me to kill a human.” He lets go of the blind man. “No, no, wait.” The sinnerman protests, “you have to do it.” “Hold on.
"Wo-hoo!" I heard the stands going crazy. People yelling and cheering, the sound of the high top shoes squeaking on the glossy fresh stadium gym. Just watching my team and the opponents fighting to win the game. The smell of fresh food coming straight from the new clean concession stands.
