Camp Merrimac was a day camp that was for the arts. Nonetheless, it also had normal camp activities like canoeing. Pearl’s summer was off to a rough start but it was starting to get better. Pearl went to Camp Merrimac with Lexie, JBIII, and her old best friend who moved Justine. Lexie was Pearl’s CIT also known as counselor in training. Pearl’s troop name was The Starletts. JBIII’s troop name was The Dudes. Unfortunately, Pearl had Jill DiNunzio, her arch enemy in her group. Pearl’s door was opening again for Camp Merrimac. However it was closing again. At Camp Merrimac they always take the kids to Waterworks. Waterworks is a super fun water park, but it turns into Pearl’s worst part of the summer yet. Pearl has been to Waterworks before so she was kind of like JBIII’s tour guide since this was his first year. Pearl was telling JBIII what to do and she was kind of like his owner and he was the dog. JBIII got mad and since they were in groups he and another Dude switched. Pearl was stuck with a bossy, know-it- all and didn’t have much fun at the waterpark. Pearl’s and JBIII’s fight continued at the Garlic festival that the camp also takes them to. Pearl was going to apologize when they got back from the Garlic Festival but landed JBIII in the hospital. Pearl was running up to JBIII while he was standing on the edge of the dock and was going to apologize but she knocked him elbow first on the dock and broke his elbow. Pearl ended up not apologizing to him for he was already being whisked away by EMS. Camp Merrimac ended that day and Pearl was upset not just that camp had ended but that she had broken her best friend’s arm. Pearl’s door closed but was opening once

Due to her highgrades and outstanding performance in her various extracurricular activities, her parents often had no issue with her hanging out with her freinds late at night or even staying over. of course there was the rule of 'No boys' which despite her inner personality she held true to, excpet for her freind genna's place.
