Before the 18th century, a simple mosquito bite was just a minute itch. As the year of 1793 crept on, a mosquito bite would be the cause of the profound death,“the Yellow Fever”, of the 4,000 colonists of the east coast. Both the American and French doctor’s had treatments for yellow fever patients to try and help them but they couldn’t, no matter how hard they worked . The reasoning for that is because the American and French doctor’s thought they had the cure for yellow fever when there is no cure for yellow fever. Another similarity that the French and American doctors’ have is they both work The French doctors treatments included, giving patients plenty of fluids like diluted lemonade, a lot of rest, and bathing in cold water.
