Michelle Ellis thanks for sharing your experience. We have a lot in common; I also have “hands full” with my full time job, my mother, which is another “full time” job, and my kids, which are my dogs. My husband is very supportive of my education. I could not do without him. Also I am a kindergarten teacher; I just love it, and St. Jude Children’s research hospital is my charity.
I worked for oncology; however, being a cancer survivor myself, it became very hard to separate personal and professional feelings. Therefore, I become a Case Manager, and after my fifteen years old daughter passed away as a result of cardiac problems. I decided to become ARNP- cardiology.
I don’t know if you read about it, but I just came back from I trip in Brazil,
I was hired as a radiographer in a local hospital. I gained a lot of clinical experiences in the healthcare setting. I fell in love with job, I enjoyed helping people. This gave me an opportunity to meet people and be compassionate about the sick. After a few years of working as a radiographer, I took some more certification courses and exams in computed Tomography (CT scan) and Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) which boosted my skills and knowledge as a radiologic technologist. Because of my love for information technology, I took a course and exam in medical imaging informatics and was certified as an imaging informatics professional (CIIP).
The career of an Anesthesiologist is a difficult one with an amazing reward. I choose the career of an Anesthesiologist because I like chemistry and biology and would like to go into a career where I can combine the two. I also like being the person who knows that they’ve done the saving but still doesn 't need to deal with all of the fame. This career is one that I feel I would excel in because of the flexibility of the working environment and the hours too.
I studied cardiovascular science for two years, and spent many hours of externships at major hospitals. I was very happy with my chose of career. As an echo tech, I also
During the summer of 2012, I thought, “What am I doing with my life?” I was cleaning houses and taking care of the elderly. I suddenly realized that my girls were older and my son was in kindergarten; it’s the perfect opportunity for me to accomplish my dream. So, I figured out my schedule so I would have plenty of time for work, school and my two youngest children. Finally, I thought to myself that I can go to school, get a degree, and maybe take my kids on vacation.
At this moment in time I am unsure of the nursing role that I am seeking, I am learning more about family nurse practitioner and acute care nurse practitioner as the days go by. Each field has its benefits, and whether I choose to go with FNP or Acute care I know that I will be making a positive difference in the field of nursing. Although I am a little bit unsure at this time, I feel that I am leaning more towards acute care. I love the fact that a nurse practitioner can work in many different specialties like being a nurse practitioner midwife, to working in the emergency department or even working at a clinic in a rural area, the possibilities for nurse practitioners are endless and I am very grateful to be in this program. Working at the hospital provides exposure to many different ailments, and being able to focus on one specific ailment and treat it is where my interest is in. I find the cardiac system to be complex and interesting, arterial lines, chest tubes, and hemodynamics are very interesting to me.
From the time that I was able to talk, I have always expressed to my family and friends, how I wanted to work in the medical field. Your mind is the most creative when you are young and I had some great ideas on how I was going to run my own office. As I grew older those thoughts slowing begun to fade away. My first job in the medical field was a work study as a medical receptionist. Even though I only worked there for about 6 months, I thought I knew it all, I was soon to be faced with the truth that I didn’t know the half of it.
RN. Therefore, I went back to school and became a RN in 2012. Presently, I am employed as

I chose Anatomic Pathology as my career to research because I have always had an avid interest in the medical career. at first I wanted to be a doctor but I was not sure if I would be good at it, But this way I will always be involved in the medical field and be involved in something that I have always wanted to do. There will always be a job for me because there is always research to be done about the human body.
Although I never met Marilyn Fratturelli I do hope that I exemplify some of the qualities that were important to her. For the next four years I will be attending Salem State University for International Business and Italian and I can honestly say that my teachers and my family have prepared me for future. It is my goal in life to become an international corporate lawyer and I hope to work for a non-profit organization in the future. It was my international justice teacher that showed me the struggles and hardships that people all over the world face which influenced me to want to help end the suffering in different countries. My italian teacher is the one who nurtured my passion for the italian culture and language and taught me the advantages
I chose a cardiovascular technician for my future career because they help people by testing their hearts for something bad. They use electrocardiograms, EKG, and medical sonography to detect problems in the heart (Become a 1).
Growing up I have changed what I want to do with my life career so many times it is ridiculous. I am still not very sure what I want to do with my life. There are so many options and it came by too fast to decide. I may not be sure what I want to do with my life but there is one thing I am sure of, I have a good love for math and I am pretty decent at it. So I decided to interview my math professor, Beth McNamee. She teaches College Algebra and Trigonometry. I chose to interview her because I thought if I interviewed a math professor, it could open my eyes to maybe something in the math field. There is so much you can do with math and not everyone likes math so I thought it would be a good idea. I asked my professor the following seven questions:
I have, over the last few years, developed a great interest in the medical field and how the body functions. I genuinely take joy in helping people and feel being part of their treatment is an excellent in aiding them. I believe a large aspect of my interest with medicine, and specifically radiology, stems from my own experiences with physicians and personal illness.
No questions asked, my greatest gift from God is definitely having the privilege to be a big sister to two amazing girls and a little sister to one. Everyday they never cease to amaze me in everything they do along with the goals they put their mind to and achieve. Allyson, Ellen, and Colleen have accepted me for the person I am and love me unconditionally despite my mistakes sometimes. I enjoy watching each one of them grow and achieve anything they set their mind to. Being able to compete in sports throughout the years with them has definitely been one of the highlights of being a sister. I know that Ellen and Colleen look up to me which motivates me to be the best sister and person that I can be. Being able to have a big sister like Allyson
