Hi Guys,
I am Andrew Soebagio, from Indonesia. I’ve been a student at North for about a year and a half now. I’m planning to graduate from North this upcoming fall, with an AS degree. A major that I have in mind is Petroleum Engineering; hopefully this plan will stick with me till I graduate.
I have a passion for technology, and living in a world where technology is basically all around us, enhance my love for technology. An issue that keeps arising again and again is global warming, it has been an issue for a while now, and we get bored with listening to the claim that it is bad for us. I’m captivated with the technology that is being developed by an American automotive company called Tesla. Tesla sells an all-electric vehicle, and I’ll
I came to SIATech to get my diploma. More specifically get a diploma so I can move onto college. And I’m glad I came to SIATech it taught me qualities I’ll need in the future to get to where I want to, most importantly it taught me commitment and responsibility. Getting up early in morning and having to take the bus and sprinter to go do some schoolwork I’ve already done or have some type of knowledge in just to finish something I was supposed to have done a year ago, definitely hit me with the realization how stupid it was not to take school seriously. Life is sort of like a race, though you’re only competing with yourself, it doesn’t mean you should go slower just because you can, you should work faster because you’re able to.
The Tesla may be a cool car and a fast car, but it is nowhere near environmentally friendly nor is it worth the money due to the buyer breaking even after approximately 45 years after purchasing and driving the car. Many buyers do not do their research and they decide to just buy the car due to it being so called environmentally friendly and fully electric. It however is fully electric but the producers of Tesla do wordplay to hook in buyers and brainwash them into thinking they are helping the environment and saving money which it totally wrong and some even consider it a scam and me as an educated student on this topic would have to agree with those certain individuals due to the tricky word play and false advertising.
To being, I am in the TRIO Upward Bound program, and before I was in the program I did not know about anything dealing with college, I did not even know how to apply, or choose which college to go too. With the programs help I was able to learn about college by taking part in the Upward Bound summer program, which really prepared me for college. Without the program I would not be as prepared for college as I am today, I learned that I was going to need to think about myself and go where I want to go. Without the program I would not know that the college I am dead set on going to even exists. The program prepared me for the rest of my life, more than my parents ever had.
Upon my retirement from the United States Navy, my family and I chose to move to Indiana. I reside in a rural community, which allows me to pursue my passions such as watching my three children blossom into adulthood, being Anne’s Grandma, spending quality time with my husband, horseback riding, raising chickens, cross-stitching and crafting. In my spare time I am mastering my new career as a federal employee filling the role of Configuration Management Officer for a Navy Project while pursuing my graduate degree in business administration at Grantham University.
Tesla saw within his lifespan how his ideas were being utilized, but not in the way he hoped. “The scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up. His work is like that of the planter — for the future. His duty is to lay the foundation for those who are to come, and point the way. He lives and labors and hopes. The Problem of Increasing Human Energy”
At City College, I am teaching the Macaulay Honors College Seminar 3 (Science Forward) — I am also developing the design and content of this course, with the focus on nanoscience and biophysics. Since the course content would evolve a bit organically, I wanted to share this info with you.
John Hopkins Admission readers, I have enough experience and skills to be successful in medical school and to become a nurse. I have taken many medical classes in middle and high school. I have taken a class to be First Aid and CPR certified. I volunteer at the nursing home when they need me too. I am in a club that deals with medical, the club name is HOSA.
