Reading a book and watching a movie is different because when you read a book you can use the world of imagination. You get to make up the characters voices, imagine what they look like, and read at the pace you want to read in. When you watch a movie you don't get to imagine what the characters look like or what they sound like. The story Rikki-tikki-tavi and the movie Rikki-tikki-tavi are different because Rikki (for short) in the book I imagined that he looked like a real mongoose, and in the movie he looked kind of like a squirrel. In the book Rikki ate raw meat and eggs, and in the movie he ate bananas. In the movie Rikki never said, “ Rikk-tikk-tikki-tikki-tchk.” The people who made the movie made Rikki very fast, and in the book
Loyalty is the quality of being loyal to someone or something. In a bungalow located in Segowlee, cantonment a youthful mongoose named Rikki-tikki who was snatched out of his home would have to save a young boy Teddy and his family from deadly snakes. Rikki-tikki-tavi, written by Rudyard Kipling, and it’s movie, produced by Alexandra Snezhko-Blotskaya, have many similarities and differences. The
For instance, in the book Joppy knew Albright; Albright knew Todd Carter; Todd Carter knew Richard McGee as well as Matthew Terrell whereas in the movie every character denied knowing each other except Albright and Joppy. Another noticeable difference is that in the book Frank Green, Daphne’s brother ends up murdered and in the movie he lives and they both end up moving. The third noticeable difference is a character name change from the book to the movie; Matthew Teran in the book is Matthew Terrell in the movie and he ends up being murdered in the book whereas at the end of the movie he’s running for mayor. A fourth noticeable difference is the pier scene. In the book Albright and Easy meet at the Santa Monica pier and in the movie it is the Malibu pier. And the last most noticeable difference between the book and the movie is that Mouse knows Daphne Monet or shall we call her by her real name Ruby Hanks; however, in the movie the audience never finds that out. In the movie the only true thing you get to know about Daphne is that she is both black and white. Therefore, due to the many differences between the book and the movie it is confusing to the audience since it is almost like dealing with two different stories because of the plot inconsistencies.

So in the movie Nag and Nagaina have a short talk before Rikki kills Nag, but in the book they talk for a long time. The book says Nag got shot by Teddy’s father. In the movie Rikki killed Nag himself. Darzee bragged when Rikki killed Nag in the movie, but Chuchundra bragged about Rikki in the book. The movie and the book say Rikki stilled killed Nag and Nagaina. They still have the same characters and Rikki Tikki almost died in the same hole with Nagaina.
