Matthew is a conscientious, hard-working student. He has been very dedicated this year to learning each topic in the course especially programming. This level of commitment will no doubt give great dividends in the future. He is very good at meeting deadlines, and he always does his work to a high standard. All he needs now to gain endorsement in this subject is complete the externally marked Computer Science report to a high standard. Bayley has worked steadily this year. He has passed most of his internals. Next year's course will have a lot of programming in it, so more practice would be prudent in his case. The last thing he needs to concentrate on is finishing the externally marked Computer Science report. Jackson has made pleasing progress …show more content…
He has passed all of his internals, and showed some potential in programming and web development. All he needs to do is complete the externally assessed Computer Science report. He has done well to cope with some of the complex topics we covered this year and seems capable of a higher level of study in this subject. Connor had limited progress and struggled most of this year in Digital Technologies. He really needed to ask for extra help or use the available lunchtime tutorials being offered. His Database grade shows he is capable of passing. He still has a chance of gaining more credits if he completes the externally marked Computer Science report. Connor is a very motivated student who strives to reach his full potential and has produced some outstanding work this year. His Database, Networking and Website skills are impressive and show what hard work and dedication can accomplish. I encourage him to pursue this subject next year. Reuben is a clever student who has achieved some reasonable results this year for Digital Technologies. His grades do not accurately reflect his true potential, but rather his effort. He was happy to just get passing grades, but he is far more capable and could be truly talented in this area of study, especially …show more content…
He achieved high marks for all of his assessments, especially Networking and showed some talent in programming using the Java language. All he needs now to gain endorsement in this subject is complete the externally marked Computer Science report to a high standard. Jordan has be a diligent student this year. He passed all his internals this year and did especially well in his Java programming assignment. He definitely shows the potential to excel in this area of study, and seems to be improving all the time. The only thing he needs to do now is finish the externally assessed report on Computer Science topics. Ben has had mixed results this year in Digital Technologies. He found the subject very challenging, but did manage to get positive results in Website and the Database assessments. He struggled when it came to writing the Networking report and found programming difficult. He still has the chance to get more credits if he can complete the external Computer Science
Over my years of professional and educational experience I have developed a concise set of skills which I believe will enable me to be successful in completion of my Ph.D. program at Walden University. I have extensive experience in the following area: data mining, business analyst, interpreting financial data, presentation skills and software programming skills on a concise scale. Over the years during my course works I intend to enhance my skill set and build additional essential skills which will enable me to become a proficient scholar-practitioner.
Moving ahead to the middle of this course has me feeling confident in my ability to define computer terms in various business situations. In addition to this, the INFT124 class also helps me remember the names of basic computer parts and it also helps me competently explain how computers function. These activities also help me advance my computer knowledge, experience and competencies so I know how to complete challenging academic tasks.
This was by far the most challenging course that I have encountered while obtaining my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from UCMO. That is not a negative comment as this course has actually impacted me professionally more than any other course I’ve taken to date. This course has taken more time to complete the assignments, more of my attention to detail, and more of my creativity. The last point was the best part about this course. I consider myself to be fairly creative and this course definitely allowed me to do that while bringing my somewhat odd personality to a professional forum. For this I am grateful. Let’s get to the good stuff, shall we?
My studies in computer studies over the past few days had me discontented in the beginning and joyous with a shared determination by Saturday afternoon. I opened the learning guide for the weeks working session starting June 25 and ending July 1st for a quick glance of the topics and the requirements for successfully completing this unit work. From the onset, when I viewed the assignment, I asked myself what made me choose this course so early. I began doubting myself and my true potential without reading the full details and the literature associated with it. Off course this will not help me complete this assignment.
Zach’s hard work doesn’t stop at the classroom. He is a very involved student at Eisenhower. His freshman year he immediately started making an impact at EHS when he joined Cross Country and was elected by his peers to be a representative for Student Council. Zach was active in Student Council from Freshman year all the way through Junior year and excelled as a leader of his peers. He was selected to be a member of National Honors
Five years from now Mr. McClam sees himself finishing up a bachelor’s degree as a software developer or security engineer. Naiyel is planning on increasing his knowledge of mathematics taking calculus algorithms and other mathematics in order to reach his goals of a bachelor’s degree. Naiyel's accomplishments include a recognition award for football and being
The following evidence is a grade 9 Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute Scholar Certificate and it is given to those students who have obtained an average of 90% or higher upon completion of the 2016-2017 school year at Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute. I included this item of evidence because it demonstrates my learning skills by displaying an overall idea of how I efficiently learn and apply those skills in different courses throughout grade 9. My learning skills allow me to quickly adapt and quickly getting up-to-speed with any task I’m confronted with. This not only includes new math theorems, science concepts, and different languages, but also quickly adapting to new tools and techniques I haven’t encountered before. This
After completing the CodeHS loop concepts and started the Space Needle and Rocket loop assignments. After working through the loops I came back and surveyed how they felt it went. While the program requires students to complete tasks specifically the CodeHS way (the auto grading), many students found this helpful. The next step is to begin to work on the projects. Reflection on the needs of my students, allowing incorporation of CodeHS and move from the SAMR Model Augmentation to Modification. The tool is a direct substitute with improvements of video and immediate feedback, although to transform instruction for significant project/task redesign, would seem to be difficult without the instructor's understanding and knowledge of the content. The one thought that I had, I experiment and work constantly to reach the point where I don’t strictly follow a book. The colleague that I will support is teaching Java for the first time has only some experience with Visual Basic. I find myself reflecting on how to structure support for him as he teaches. The push for Computer Science teachers is increasing and schools are looking everywhere, even at their math and science teachers. While they might have a little experience, supporting them is paramount to their success and the success of
Chris is well liked by his peers, is a good communicator and has a broad-minded and receptive attitude towards others. In short, I give Chris my highest recommendation and believe your selection committee should consider his application
It is my esteemed honor to submit a recommendation for Ethan Watson, and to write this narrative account in support of his application for selection as a student into Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As those who get to know him quickly learn, Ethan Watson is a student with an insatiable thirst for knowledge whom is a tenacious and persistent learner - one of the most driven students whom I have ever taught. But he is even more than what one might see by a cursory examination of his record and accomplishments. Ethan exemplifies calm, confidence, and successful pursuit of learning. Not only is he truly an independent learner; he has the ability to analyze situations and information in a way that few students demonstrate the capacity

Cynthia Lin describes herself as a CAMS student, programmer, web and game developer, and a computer science connoisseur. In her free time, Cynthia likes to play tennis and the piano. Though she is not very talented, Cynthia can type very fast on the computer and memorize trivia for a long period of time. She hopes to improve her web development skills and participate in a summer internship or program. Like most other Asians, Cynthia dreams of enrolling at top-tier colleges with good computer science programs.
I am glad to write a letter of recommendation for Young Jun Song. In the beginning of 2012 summer, he was one of my coordinator on the University of Utah at business school as my roommate. As such, he was hard worker for studying, teaching for any mathematical classes to me and for group projects.
