Personal Narrative: The Sequence

Nancy and mark collier got married, but then on April 8, 2003, Nancy wanted to get a divorce from Mark. Nancy was feeling unsafe and had an order of protection put on Mark for him to stay away from her workplace. Nancy was working at the hospital on April 24, 2003, during that time mark went to his neighbor and was telling his neighbor that he was going to kill himself and Nancy because Nancy had filed divorce. Mark neighbor thought mark was just talking crazy because mark had talked like that before. That night mark went back to his neighbor and said that tonight is the night and mark and his neighbor walked back to marks house and mark said again that he was going to kill himself and Nancy. I was incredibly excited. School was starting tomorrow. The first few days were just icebreakers, learning everyone’s names, blah blah blah. Then the real learning began. Of course, teachers started to write our lessons on the board. I started to notice a few changes in what I was seeing. The words they were writing were just...black lines! I didn’t pay much attention to it, I just asked my friends what the board said. As the year went on, it affected me more and more, especially in math. I saw a 2 as a 6, and and an A as an 8.

Over my years of school, one big influence on me has always been sports. Ever since a young age, I have always enjoyed playing and watching sports. In my four years in high school, I have fell in love with the sport of lacrosse.

I woke up and took one bite out of my pop tart but that one bite was all I could eat. My legs were shaking, and my heart was pounding. My dad told me, “It is a true honor to even make it this far so go out there and have some fun.” Once I heard this statement, I knew I was ready to go. I arrived at school and boarded the bus. The car ride was an hour and fifteen minutes of hearing the squeaking of the wheel on the bus. My teammates were getting their heads ready for the big game.

Of course the norm for me is that of any citizen living in zone three.

After reading that Kurt was surprised, he was so happy but then he remembered what happen. After seeing Kurt sad Jocko took him to the morgue in town, there they saw Kurt's wife's body,Kurt started crying, then the guy who worked there came and said ‘i heard that she was taken to the hospital after the injury and there she had a daughter

When I was young my Dad would always remind me of how important these years as a kid are. He would always say watch how you act as a kid, for it will set the stage for the rest of your life. So many people I know ruined their lives when they were kids. This small, yet so important statement runs through my mind everyday. I quickly swallowed my homemade authentic Indian food leftovers and gulped down my chocolate milk. Looking down at my watch that read 11:28am, I knew that I only had two minutes until my most favorite part of the day: recess. Reading the first chapter of The 7 Habits I realized that I am more reactive than proactive. I came to understand that many of the faults I found in my life could have been seen differently, or have a different outcome. As a child and adult I am still more reactive than what I want to be. I’m over sensitive to what people say and think about me, I have anger problems, and I argue more with my family than listen.
