On Tuesday, January 2, 2018, we arrived for our prearranged scheduled meeting at 9: 40 AM, for our planned 10:00 AM, UNUM Field Visit with Ms. Veronica Alvarez at the Starbucks coffee shop, located at 11979 Garvey Ave. El Monte, CA 91732. The Field Representative continue to wait for Ms. Alvarez that she was late for her 10 o’clock appointment, when she arrived at 10:30 AM, as she exited from a four-door white Kia compact vehicle. Ms. Alvarez who was recognized from our previous meeting with her on December 19, 2017, when she had refused to provide her statements since she was legally represented was observed driving the said vehicle. Miss Alvarez was seen exiting the driver side of the car as she walked in a normal gait towards our direction where we waited for Ms. Alvarez inside the Starbucks coffee shop. We noted that the vehicle appeared to be a newer vehicle which had a paper rear license plate.
Before Ms. Alvarez met with us at the coffee shop, we noted that she did not ambulate with any walking devices or walking canes. She did not appear to be in any pain or any discomfort as she had both of her hands to her side while she swayed back and forth with both of her hands to her side as she walked briskly across the parking lot.
When Ms. Alvarez walked into the restaurant, she used her right hand to push the last door leading into the Starbucks coffee shop. When she entered the coffee shop, Miss Alvarez apologized for being late for her scheduled meeting while she offered
Leadership in an organization often plays a critical role, and is frequently, though not always, one of the major drivers of the success or failure of a company. (Bass, 1990) Effective leadership helps a company through times of peril and brings a future of brightness. It makes a corporation successful. However, what is leadership? According to Kouzes and Posner, it is the art of mobilizing others to want to struggle for shared aspirations. (1995, p.30) Leaders set a clear direction for us; they help us realize what is ahead; they support us to achieve and win; they encourage and inspire us when we feel depressed. Without leadership, an organization will degenerate into chaos and unstructured because people view things in different ways.
From the research that I have done forming the three research articles, I have concluded that the authors who wrote the research journal, the magazine, and the book advise to not work out heavily every time. The authors suggest that if I do have a busy schedule, one that does usually fit gym time in the daily commute, that I should at least incorporate some level of physical activity whenever I have the free time. Simply walking at a fast pace on the way to work or class, or just getting out of a chair and stretching is beneficial for most, if not all, people. I can use the advice given to me so that I can be constantly active even when not in the gym, so that I don’t increase body fat percentages.

Within this project the teacher candidate was able to interact with a peer teacher candidate and communicate effectively about personal experiences within the field. The teacher candidate was able to implement the knowledge and skills learned in professional development in the teaching and learning process. The teacher candidate made reflective implications of behavior management strategies and formal pedagogical practices of the professional teacher she observed, and touched on future use in her own classroom.
The most difficult part of growing up as the older child is having to experience life firsthand. Although my parents were able to guide me through the majority of my life, one aspect that they couldn’t assist me in was my education. On top of school being challenging for both of them, there was also a need for financial aid;, my parents both dropped out 10th grade in order to help out the family by working. This caused them to lose focus on their education, resulting in the incompletion of high school, let alone college. This affected me because throughout my entire education, there was no one to guide me through school or help me with my school work. Since my parents weren’t formally educated, I was forced to teach myself and use other resources,
When I first learned about this assignment, I was a bit skeptical. Having to go to the same place every week and journal about my experience did not really appeal to me and seemed tedious. I was never really big into journaling, but after the first visit, I was hooked. After the first visit, I was amazed at how much of a relief it was to have nothing to worry about except the beauty that was right in front of me. Feeling the this sense of calmness wash over me was unbelievable.

In our Skype meeting Peter Owen impressed as having a large or outgoing personality and an expressive, self-confident somewhat blokey personal communication style. I thought it was probably highly appropriate to building engineering construction site operations.
This class has shaped the way I view education in a positive and drastic way. I had previously taken this course online as well and my end result was a low grade but that was because I did not put in the effort and I failed to read the on course text. I chose to repeat this class to raise my GPA and to get a higher education by learning how to be a better student and person. I did not think much of this class because I found it kind of boring to read about managing my life and I thought I already knew how to do that in all honesty. I was proven wrong and I decided to put in the effort and was amazed by my results from the start of this class, to how drasticly they changed towards the end of this class, I feel like a new discovered person
For the dates 17th - 21st July I had the opportunity to attend a Catholic Primary School; St Charles Borromeo; where I accompanied a grade 1/2 class. Working with both the teachers and students I was able to attain an insight about the daily duties of a teacher both during class as well as during their breaks throughout the day. I was able to help the students undertake certain tasks for example reading, writing, maths as well as a range of many others. I also witnessed their classes outside of the classroom such as art, sport, Italian and library. Overall I was able to undertake the position of a teacher in the sense of helping the kids during the tasks they were assigned to, excluding the initial explanation of a topic and leading of a class.
My name Jose Antonio Cintron, I am a United States Army soldier. I have been in the military for sixteen years, and for the last ten of those years, I have been serving as an attack helicopter pilot. In the following paragraphs, I will guide you through my personal educational experience, where it started, how it transformed to this point and how I want it to progress in the future.
Being in public education for twelve years and doing well, enabled me to have the experience of graduation from High School. There were two unique aspects to this experience. One was which I was able to reach my goal of becoming the valedictorian— there were five of us at Arvada West. The other aspect that made this situation unique was the fact that I was able to attend my high school graduation. Six weeks before the semester ended, I was hit by a car and was in the hospital having suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. There was a point in time where they thought that I would have disabilities, and I would never reach the level I was at before. However, I overcame a lot of adversities.
My son, Ricky is now six years old and he has undergone many milestones and changes to be who he is today. All throughout Ricky’s life I have worked on his intelligence, morals, and social skills so he can become a valuable member of society. In regards to Ricky’s intelligence, I have worked on his ability to read and his sleep habits which correlate with his intelligence. In regards to Ricky’s morals, I have stressed the value of honesty and treating others kindly. Lastly, Ricky is practicing sociodramatic play and participating in recreational activities to gain social skills.
“We learn something new everyday, we are always growing until the day we die” said by Bill Vaughan. Learning is a lesson that is always changing we each learn new things we are proud of. However, when trying to gain a ability to do something, we have to keep trying. Giving up before getting anywhere is not an option. “Do or do not there is no try” said by Yoda from “Star Wars”. I have had many important experiences in my life, but I have the fondest memory of one specific learning moment that greatly affected my life. I will now “show” everyone a time where I learned how to swim.
One crisis in my life in recent years would have been when I was dating a controlling and verbally abusive guy in college who my parents did not like. One evening my parents came to my college to voice their concern and thoughts on our relationship. They were worried about me and the choices I was making. I was frustrated with the tension I felt from my parents and the guy I was dating. I remember telling them to let me make my own mistakes and decisions in life. Looking back on the situation I know they were intervening because they cared about me and wanted me to open my eyes to reality. I think it way they decided to respond was ineffective due making me feel isolated and judged by them. They showed up out of the blue and had not told me they were coming. I would have felt validation if they would have sat down with me to hear how my relationship was going would have made it easier to hear their advice.
