My Vacation to Nassau, Bahamas
When I was in eighth grade I went on my first trip out of the country to Nassau, Bahamas. Going on this trip was one of the most exciting and unforgettable times of my life. Not only was it a fun experience, it was also the first time I realized that I love traveling. While there I was lucky enough to visit many places, such as Blue Lagoon Island and the beautiful Atlantis Resort, and immerse myself in the Bahamian culture. My time in The Bahamas was not my only great memory from that trip. The journey to get to The Bahamas itself was also quite interesting.
There was only one week before I left for my trip to the Bahamas. My dad had already booked our trip and he told me we were staying in the little hotel across the street from the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. To be honest I was pretty upset about it. Although before leaving for our vacation I was given the great news from my dad that we were not staying at the hotel across from the resort and we were actually staying at the huge Atlantis Royal Towers section of the Atlantis Resort with a great view. This news had completely brightened my day. Two days after finding out the fantastic news we left for the airport at around three o’clock in the morning. We flew out of O’Hare International Airport so we had to ride on a tram to get the airport where something happened that, to me, is rather coincidental. Since it was only three in the morning there was no one on the tram except for my parents and I, along with a young couple. Once we got off the tram we made our way to the gate for our flight to Miami, Florida to board the connecting flight to Nassau. When we got on the plane we recognized the people in our row as the same young couple we saw on the tram earlier in the morning! After landing and making our way to the connecting flight we noticed that the young couple from the flight was going to the Bahamas as well. I just thought that the encounter was a pretty interesting coincidence and is something that I will probably remember for quite a while.
After experiencing the memorable and somewhat coincidental journey to the Bahamas we decided to take a boat from Nassau to Blue Lagoon Island. I would describe Blue Lagoon
In 2012, my dad’s entire side of the family made the decision to take a trip to Maui, one of the five islands of Hawaii. Maui is by far one of the most beautiful and exotic places I have ever traveled to. There are two things that I remember the most: snorkeling at our resort and attending a luau. Going to the luau was one of the coolest things I have ever been able to experience. The food was so good, especially the purple potatoes and pineapple. This was truly an amazing experience of Hawaiian culture. We also took a drive up Mt. Haleakala which is a mountainous volcano. We got up at 4:00 in the morning so we could be there to see the sunrise. We were high above the clouds. The view was breathtaking but so cold! Hawaii is definitely somewhere I would travel back
Cancun Mexico is a place if amazing beaches, wild life, and many adventures that can’t be found anywhere else. The many different kinds of resorts that they have to offer is what makes Cancun a great vacation spot. All the resorts are combined so that way any guest that stays in Cancun can just jump from one resort to another. The resorts offer adventures and beaches with crystal clear waters at anyone’s finger tips, I loved being spoiled the whole time I was there. The main things that I enjoyed the most about my trip was spending time in the Olympic size pools getting waiting on all hours of the day, swimming with dolphins, and the XPOR tour.
The 4th day we were there a tropical storm happened, no one was allowed in the ocean pasted their ankles, so instead of swimming we went crab hunting, but because they would pinch our fingers we decided to hunt for seashells instead.
My best moment was when i went to the Florida Keys over Christmas break in 2015. It was a two week trip just on our way to the Keys. On our way we stopped at the Creation Museum down in Kentucky and we stayed at my grandpa’s house in Maranatha Village down in Sebring Florida. When we finally got down to the Keys i couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. The water was that beautiful blue color and there was nothing but colorful coral and crystal blue water everywhere. When we got to where we were staying it was packed. There were more campers than we could count. The campground was on it’s own little island on the highway. My dad used to work there while my grandpa sang for an audience in the outdoor bar by the pool and hot tub. When i went to
When Connor was sixteen, he was scavenging through the desk for a stapler, instead he found airplane tickets to the Bahamas, but there were only 3 tickets. Thinking his ticket was misplaced he looked through the desk more, and more. Instead of finding another airplane ticket, he found the unwind order. The date on the order was the date just one day before his family left for the Bahamas. Connor being as infuriated as he was, had the urge to break something... but didn’t he held in his temper and emotions behind the thought.
Have you ever been on a vacation? Although I have not been on an enormous amount of vacations, but I have been on a few. Of the four to five vacations I have been on, the most favorable trip I have ever been on was when I was seven years old and my family went to Colorado. There, we explored the nearby towns, went dirt-biking, went on a train, and had some mishaps. We also stopped at some amazing places on the way there, including a huge museum in Kansas City.
If i had a ticket to go anywhere i want, I would want to go to the bahamas. Going to the bahamas has always been a dream of mine, because it seems fun and I honestly love getting on water rides and I love the ocean and all the animals. I would stay at the bahamas for a while because there is a lot of places to visit.
When I was in the 12th grade I got the opportunity of a life time to go all the way to San Diego California with my FCCLA student organization. Coming all the way from hot a humid city filled Atlanta Ga, to beautiful sunny, beach covered California sounded like a dream.
Get the most out of life's luxurious pleasures crossing the Bahamas with a Miami yacht rental, giving you a superb sense of privacy giving you freedom and flexibility to do exactly as you please. Luxurious Miami Yacht Rental surely jibes with the kind of travel you need to forget all your worries behind and unwind with the one’s who matters to you most.
When you wake up from a coma and you find yourself on an island with only your family. The only thing I remember was flying and then boom, the plane crashed. I was on an island and that is all I remember.
Have you ever wanted to go to a place where celebrities and people can roam free, a place where a festival is almost always happening, a place that you will never be bored at? Well, thankfully that place exists! This year I was gifted with the opportunity to go to the Bahamas, the outstanding culture, the amazing sights and all the breathtaking rides, all reasons why I would like to go there again.
Since I had won the Grand prize for the Jet Around The World Sweepstakes that is probably be the most spectacular thing that has ever happened to me. I want to bring more than 1 person along with me and go to many different places but even though I cant it is still awesome. Although I had to choose one place and it would be the Bahamas. Also I had to bring one person it was my brother.
The first stop on our trip was Bari, Italy. When we got off the boat we each rented a bicycle and a tour guide took us all around the city. The first thing we saw was a beautiful big cathedral. The architecture was fascinating and there were a bunch of interesting artifacts inside. The next stop was a big castle right on the coast. Inside there were multiple pieces of art and tons of information on the history of the city. Next we rode our bikes down to the beach and stopped at a small bakery that had the most delicious gelato I have ever had. By that time it was time to leave and back to the boat.
It may sound like a slight cliché but this is an experience that you will truly never forget, as you feel such unity with nature and this cannot be explained until you have witnessed it yourself. You start to think “maybe this is how life should be lived?” A life without worries, responsibilities or stress, a life that is to be lived out how you want, without any authoritative figure forcing you how to live, presenting you with an immense urge to just leave the dull and dark cruel society that we are faced with everyday to go and discover the kind of rare tranquillity that can be found in an such an incredible place unfound and unscathed by the greed of man. The crystal clear sea, the incredible exotic creatures and the peaceful life style of the Caribbean is what makes it so remarkable.
Like it was yesterday I remember my first vacation on a cruise. My Dad and I went on a three- day long cruise to The Bahamas. I had never been on a cruise, so it was a new experience for me. We needed to be in Tampa for our departure, so we drove the two hours from Orlando, Florida to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My Dad and I used this time to talk, make plans for the trip and think about our upcoming adventures on the cruise.
