“Life isn’t about finding yourself, Life is about creating yourself,” – George Bernard Shaw
My goal in life is to be a great friend and wife to my fiancé. An exceptional and admirable mother that teaches her children not just right and wrong, but how to be healthy, happy, successful, responsible adults who can do the same for their families. I don’t want to lose sight of who I am and the person I am meant to be in the process. All the while, enjoying every bit of life and making every moment count.
My Guide Life experiences are what guide me in accomplishing my mission. Through the people I meet and the places I travel I witness different cultures and values. This in turn ignites a spark of desire inside of me to understand why people

Family Members: My extended family is a unique blend of beautiful characters held together by the word “family”. They are spirited Germans who solve everything with Spätzle and smiles, each have their own opinions, tastes, and humor. Generally, I just try to be blend in, go-with-the flow when it comes to the in-laws. As for my mother and seven siblings, I make a point to stay close to them and be supportive. They are a big part of my connection to who I am and where I came from, that is something I do not want to forget.
Employer: I will continue to build a relationship with my employer that is based on respect, trust and loyalty. I will make every attempt to not mix my personal life with work. However, I expect my employer to be conscience of my work-life balance. I also expect my employer to be ethical in its decision making and I myself will do the same. I will work hard and give my best effort and in return my employer should do the same for me.
Learning: Learning is a never-ending process. I want to continue to learn until the day I die. I find it one of, if not the, most rewarding experiences in life. I will continue to be curious. I will take on challenges in my work and personal life that will teach me new things. I will strive to continuously ask questions. I will pass on my knowledge to help people become more aware and tolerable of the unknown.
Self esteem and Security: My life had some rough beginnings. I
In my lifetime I hope to be able to experience as much as possible before I inevitably die. I have Dreams of traveling the world, meeting people, and creating experiences that I will never forget. I want a job that I enjoy and a family that I love and can share my experiences with and create even more with them. Most of all I just want to live a happy life, one that when I’m old I can look back on and have more good memories than bad. A life that I can be proud of and feel that no time was wasted.
My goal is to be happy and successful in life. I will accomplish my goal by getting a good education, falling in love, and excelling in band.
The goal is to be happy and satisfied with your life.
A one goal that I have set for myself is to keep moving forward into my careers. By moving more into a career will help me achieve better financial issues, less depression, better opportunities, better choices, and a better attitude toward life. Another goal
My main goal in life is to be successful and be the best person that I can be. I want to give to others as often as I can and try to see the light in all situations. I think that this is my own goal. It is simply the person that I want to be. I am sure that others may have influenced this in some way or another. For instance, my mother has probably influence my want to see the good in everyone, because she fails to see the good in me. All in all, these are my
I have been asked to describe an event or experience in my life that will influence my academic work and goals at Colorado Christian University. So many thoughts and memories surface I don’t know where to begin to make a long story short. I have survived so much I have no reason not to succeed her at Colorado Christian University.
From a young age, I have never particularly excelled in any field. I was an average student and average at all of my so-called talents. However, my perception of myself changed in 7th grade when I joined the Debate club at my school. That one club helped me realize my potential and taught me not to underestimate myself. During my journey in that club, I learned a lot of things. Having needed to debate on various issues around the world, this club was an eyeopener to the privileged life I lived. It was that year I made a decision to make this passion of mine into a career- a human rights lawyer. It is has been 3 years since I took that decision and my passion hasn't diminished. Ever since that year, I have strived to be the best version of myself
My parents have always told me to look for the best in life. Their hard work has contributed to many of my ambitions. One of my main ambitions is to be successful in life. To do so, I will graduate high school and continue my education. I will continue my education by attending college either at ECU or NC State. I will become a great pediatric nurse and a successful small business owner. I also want to be able to travel and have fun after having my own money. Later on, I wish to move out of North Carolina. I want to move out to California or Florida. After having some time of my own I wish to start my own family. I want to have a small family that I will be proud of when I am old.
When I was younger I never thought I would be where I am today. Through life’s challenges I have come to realize that I can do anything I set my mind to. I continue to grow everyday as a person, because “I want to be better than I was the day before.” This is my mission statement for life.
One of my best experiences I have ever had was signing up for Advance Chemistry in the 11th grade and the subsequent three that I scored on the Advance Placement exam at A.R. Johnson in the school year of 2013-2014. This class was the first Advance Placement class I took after coming off a strong 10th grade chemistry finish. That means I got a high B in the class which for that reason, my teacher Dr. Grayson strongly persuaded me to go into her Advanced Placement Chemistry course.
I was in Anchorage, Alaska. My student mission choir, Zamar, took 99 students to go to Anchorage to perform mission work. I got sent to work in the nursing home, which they called the pioneer home. I was really nervous about it since I thought I would be more comfortable doing mission work with little kids instead of the people in the nursing home. I went in the nursing home expecting to be working in the bingo group, but they sent me to the Alzheimer’s unit instead. I was very worried because I had never seen this disease in real life before.
At this point in my life, the last thing I expected to do was to have the courage to follow my lifelong dream of being in the healthcare profession as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. But, a heartfelt presence remained within me when I first became introduced to this field as a young woman working at a hospital. There was also a calling to assist individuals and contribute to their care and recovery in their daily lives that persisted throughout my life. Being in a position of making a difference in the lives of others is an extraordinary privilege that I do not take for granted. The dream of being part of this profession was put on hold but never forgotten, when my educational pursuits led me in another direction as an Elementary School Teacher where helping at risk students reach their fullest potential intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially was both challenging and rewarding. My career for the past 8 years has been that of a Certified Elementary Teacher with a specialization in Bilingual Education in Spanish and English as a Second Language. I have been fortunate in this manner because I have taught underserved children in a lower socioeconomic school who are at risk of failing due to their classification of being English Language Learners. And for the past three years, I have enjoyed being the PreKindergarten Bilingual Teacher for these exceptional children and made lasting friendships with the staff and parents at this school.
As a very small child I don’t remember too much, but the things that I do remember were seen through a child’s eyes that has made me the person that I am today and I will always have those memory’s with me until my last breath on this earth. In this essay I intend to show how my childhood and adult life to this point has influenced my life, my journey. By utilizing the adult development theories from this class I also intend on showing how they relate to my Life experiences and where I am today as an Adult student.
Lastly a long term goal for me in the future is to start a family. A family with a caring mother and loving home to come too everyday which is filled with joy and happiness. I would like to devote all my spare time to focus on my family. Including all members of my family including and not limited too their educations, health and personal needs. I will try to come up with the most plans in order to give my children the chance to improve their life skills to make sure they get into college and are able to start a career by themselves knowing that I am their when they need me.
While being a better role model to my kids, I am able to develop better habits myself. My personal goal is to attain as much perfection as possible in every aspect of my life. I want to be the best mom, the best wife, the best daughter, the best sister, and above all I want to be the best servant to my Creator. My academic goals are to
