3. Completing the “Attitudes Necessary for Getting and Keeping a Job” and filling out the scoring on the back, none of the attitudes about myself surprised me at all. Scoring high and relatively close in number between all the attitudes, it looks as any organization will be enlightened to have me as an employee. The attitude score I agreed with the most was on my attitude toward assuming self-leadership. Scoring 10/10 on questions 1, 2, and 3, it reflects on my self-motivation, and self-sufficiency. I believe highly in self-leadership, that is why I always motivate myself toward greater achievement, never looking for the help from my manager for help on achieving things for myself. I look at myself, bettering myself, learning and applying different
In Greensboro area, there are a lot of communities that can provide assistance to an older adult at different level. My patient is n general an independent one in all aspects of her life and she would like to be in control in everything regarding her life. She is leaving in her nice apartment by herself but in the same time she enjoy being in company of other people, especially people on her age or closer. Therefore, I consider that the best community for her to attend will be a day care community, where she can go almost every day and she can spend some quality time with other older adults. I chose a day care community because I know she needs company to avoid episodes of depression that she has occasionally, accordingly with what she told me at one of my visits. Also, at the day care, besides all the activities that are organized there she can benefit of medical assistance in case of need, and meals
I graduated high school back in 1994. I was engaged to be married in just two years, and even though I joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard right after graduation it was only one weekend a month and two weeks out of the year. So I needed a full-time job. A friend of the family knew a guy who was opening a second store, and was going to need a store manager. I took the job and got started. What I didn’t know was the guy I was just hired to work for was a little confused as to what he wanted. I hung onto the job for a little over a year hoping it would turn around but, no dice.
Have you ever felt unappreciated in a job? Do you feel on edge that at any given moment you could be replaced? Or has someone you are supposed to trust to put down your efforts? An effective leader should make sure you aren't left wondering these questions. I have worked in the special education department at a high school for three years under the guidance of the principal. During that time I have not been told that I am doing a good job or given any recognition. I am not alone because the majority of the department share the same feelings. Instead of mentoring us into the type of employees he desires he makes these negative comments. With no justification, since he rarely takes time to visit our classrooms, he has called us a “toxic department” and has repeatedly said “we should just start with a clean slate”. In the beginning I tried to approach him however, he
In the year 2013, I started being my dad’s personal assistant for his own company. This has provided me with leadership skills. It has also helped me solved disputes between the owner and the clients. I listen to what the clients want and I try to help the owner and them come to an agreement about what has to be done. Especially doing everything in a good manner so the client is sacrifice with what they are getting. It is good to help solve the disputes that way the client knows that what they are getting is good quality material. Since he does not speak very fluent english I go with him to meet the clients whenever they ask for a translator. The first couple of times I went with him were very difficult for me because I was a very shy person.
To begin with, part of my job is to write or compose programming code which is systematically on it's own. Provided that, as part of the team conducted the measurement. The project that I can think of as the most broad case where we applied a scientific method throughout the organization was the search for proper and efficient solution to handle incoming support request sent to the IT department. Prior to implementing the ticketing system, IT support request are posted via email through an email group that includes all members of the IT department. This has been the standard procedure for years, it has worked well and preferred by many staff. That said, our organization has hired several employees, redefined departments and increase individual
According to Schutt (2008), sampling is defined as a subset of population used in a study to be a representation of the population as a whole. My final project is a pre-hire assessment which analyzes potential risky pattern behaviors and emotions in the work place. One of the most important considerations related to sampling that will need to be addressed in my final project is defining the population that will be taking the assessment.
The specific groups that will be impacted by this change will be the Stock Team associates who will have to convert to days. They will be the ones who will have to adjust to a new work schedule, new job roles and new job environment. They are the driving force who will make this change work or not.
Our company’s Continuity Management Program (CMP) dictates that the business adheres to an annual testing program. The program does utilize the guidelines from the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP). The Continuity Management team has written and scripted into our process to incorporate our Tabletop Exercise’s (TTX’s). Our annual process is to test each of our business units for resiliency. TTX’s allows for us to open up discussions and dialogues focusing on many different areas in the event we need to declare. Also, the exercises aid in discovering any gaps and working through each tier of the recovery process. Our business lines have Recovery Time Objectives (RTO’s) starting at 1 hour up to 72 hours. During the TTX’s we cover the business impact analysis (BIA’s ) and each of the RTO’s.
It's an efficiency ratio "that calculates how long, on average, credit customers take to pay the amounts that they owe to the business" (Mclaney and Atrill, 2012 p. 256). It is obvious that a business will prefer a short settlement period than a large one to improve both cash flow and cash flow efficiency.
We really appreciate all the work that has been done by your team in order for the 8.8.1 upgrade to go into production. Enrollment Services has really put in a lot of time and effort to understand the process, create the test plans, and walk through individual accounts in PRVW in order to make sure we will be able to report accurate data to NSLDS. I am sure I will still have some questions until that final file is submitted but I am confident we will be able to provide accurate and on-time information by July 31st. This last week Sam, Monica, Snow, and Liz worked many hours with us and for us to get this accomplished. They are amazing! We understand that you all have many projects and daily operations in motion. Yet, still made adjustments
There are several leaders that I have admired in my career over the years. One in particular that stood out was a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force who I served under. He was a very intelligent and vibrant leader who placed importance in military customs and core values. He was one whom I emulated in the military because of his task –motivated leadership style. He focused on the goals of the organization with the emphasis on service before self. The implications of his style of leadership lead me to believe that there was little to no relationships formed with lower ranking airmen. He was always able to get the job done because of the driven culture he represented. I learned a wealth of knowledge and information from this particular leader; I was able to create a balance by embracing his style of leadership and relating it with my style, transformational leadership. I believe it was successful, because of my efforts to focus in on the mission and create a balance in inspiring, influencing, and motivating Airmen across the globe.
The name of the company I will be using is Yakko’s Seafood which it will be assumed is involved in the fishing industry in Hammond, Oregon. The purpose statement I have created for Yakko’s human resources department is as follows:
Since she has problems skipping a question and forgetting to check back over the test, I have personally gone back over my tests as many times as I’ve had time for. I’ve quadruple-checked several math tests because I have a fresh outlook when I come back to the question. Sometimes I check for mistakes and other times, my inspiration kicks in and I’m not stumped anymore. She should depend on her Sequence still, but perhaps lean towards one of its other characteristics, organizational objectives. Before she even goes into a test, take some breaths and break down in her head of what she’s going to do if she gets stumped. Go in with a game plan.
The LV team is eager to learn what statistical significance is and why it’s an important construct in the study and use of inferential statistics.
Couldn’t NextCapital create a QA test script that we could run? Do we have a policy regarding this?
