I found that my top five weaknesses are as follows: 1. Money management, 2. Understanding technology, 3. Energy level, 4. Seeking support from others and 5. Ability to focus on one thing at a time (Bethel University, 2014).

I have a few weaknesses when it comes to school. One of my weaknesses is nervousness. I tend to get nervous when it’s time to take a test. Another weakness is thinking I will not succeed. I am always afraid that I will fail, and not move forward. I seem to always second guess myself when it comes to writing a paper or speaking in front a room full of people. I am working on each of my weaknesses.

I was born the fourth of December 1991 in Cranbrook British Columbia. I lived there for 18 years. Before joining the military I worked as a fry cook at a Burger King for three years and held part time jobs working for the College of the Rockies summer camp programs during the summer. My parents are currently living together in Cranbrook BC. My father works outside the province testing railway tracks for two months at a time, then returns home for two to three weeks. My mother acts as the main contact point of the family, she works as a financial clerk. I have a 22 year old sister who will be attending university in Calgary this September. I attended Mount Baker Secondary School in Cranbrook and graduated in 2009

My journey toward achieving my passion of providing high quality compassionate care to patients has been an amazing time in my life; I married my wife, moved to New York, and started PA school. I was thrilled about my experiences in the ED as a scribe, but I promised myself to keep an open mind about all the medical specialties while in PA school; however, it quickly became clear that I had already found my passion. As time went on, I would regularly think of the excitement and fascinating medical cases seen on my emergency medicine rotation.

Weaknesses that I tend to show as a student is to have poor time management at certain times, leading to negative results such as procrastination which could ultimately stacks upon failure and poor performance in classes.

"I am an independent married student. My husband and I both are full time students with a part time jobs. I am pursuing my first undergraduate degree and the price of high education and the University tuition are excruciating. I belief, that with EOP program I will not only have an opportunities to pursuit my education, but also strong support on my way to success.

In the education world of today, it is understood that one can only be effective in teaching by taking into consideration the different learning styles of students. In a classroom, it is expected that teachers would want their students to acquire a meaningful knowledge base, become proficient problem solvers and learn how to work productively with others (Biehler and Snowman, 2006, p. 370). If this is the case, teachers need to know how to be able to develop this situation in the classroom and make it more conducive to learning. Therefore, it would seem that they need to encourage students to converse with each other with group discussions and assignments, to make sure they are active in

Two other weaknesses are time-management and organization. These two goes hand in hand and I realized that I suffer tremendously from lack thereof and have found multiple solutions to help enhance these weaknesses as I expressed in the IDP. I feel these two will be challenging as well because I realize that organization at work is limited. It is much more of filling in the gaps and

My weak area was the self-regulation portion; most of my responses to how often I handled each situation were “usually.” I need to improve on controlling my feelings in certain situations, trying to be more aware of tasks and their proposed deadlines, managing my time wisely, and executing new ideas that I myself have formulated. Other weaknesses were found in most of the areas where my strengths were. Most of them involved taking risks, which my personality often deters me from engaging in.

My greatest weakness would be that sometimes I procrastinate. My first year in community college I procrastinated constantly on turning in my assignments. After my first year, I decided I needed to stop procrastinating because it affected my work and caused me more stress. My second year in college I looked at deadlines and planned when I would work on certain subjects. By planning my time, I have gotten better as far as not procrastinating as much as I use to. Now that I am in my final year I have planned better on my assignment and know how much time I have to complete a certain task which helps

There are many things that can hurt students and make them less successful. My biggest weakness is self-management because I do not plan. My mom says I am just like my dad and brother and I do not plan ahead. Instead of planning like I should I am too lazy and I just go with the flow. An example of just going with the flow was when I was younger and I went out with friends my mom needed to know my every move. Before I would leave the house I would have to tell her what I was going to do all night, but I could never tell her because me and my friend never planned ahead. We would always just meet at his house and do whatever we felt like doing from there. By just going with the flow I have a great deal of wasted time that I could be doing a lot

I grew up a young man with a opportunity to excel in a family owned business that was based on hard work. For my father never having a formal education seemed to work fine. This mind set bled down to the next generation. I truly thought that hard work and learning what I needed to run that business from him would be all I need but in October of 2004 all that changed. The 25 year old company was no more and I was not only out of a job, career and inheritance but I did not have the education to keep myself employed at the same level. I have the technical skills to do my job well, l however I am missing the educational portion that I feel will be a long term benefit for not only myself but also my family. Project management became relevant in my life long before I even understood its propensity. It began at age fourteen when I started a neighborhood club for kids with the ambitious mission to save the earth. To create the project, my first agenda item was to recruit new members. I carried this out by going door to door and explaining my cause to the neighbors and asking if they would allow their kids to join the club. I then hosted a first meeting in my parent’s garage and was able to form an inspiring group of 6 members. As the head of the club I developed our first undertaking, which was to ask our neighbors to donate their cans for the group to recycle. To do so, I asked every member to collect as many empty cans as they could and

Right now, as I have said, I am just at the beginning, so have a lot to learn. But I think that in every class I have made an effort to develop a connection with the students. I know felt confidence in my presence to talk and communicate. I create an environment where the students feel supported to make mistakes. Throughout the course my organization and time management have improved, but it is the area where I have the most to improve on.

Motivating students to work in the classroom is not an easy task to perform. Teachers need to have classroom management and establish a conducive learning environment to meet the need of all students. As an educator, I have experienced that most of the students come to my classroom with a positive attitude and eager to learn while others come with very low self-esteem, not wanting to learn creating disruptive behaviors. In one of the articles assigned this week, it is emphasized that when students are not motivated in the classroom or have a difficult time learning a lesson, they tend to be disruptive in the classroom (Motivating Students, 2016). For this reason, as a teacher, our responsibility is to create a learning environment to motivate all students, meet their needs, and implement activities that are meaningful to them. I have been teaching for many years and cooperative learning is one of the effective strategies that I most often implement to motivate my students in my classroom. I have experienced that students tend to work better when they are assigned to work in groups and they are actively engaged in their learnings. I teach mathematics and in most of my lessons I tend to utilize hands-on activities where students get to work and learn in groups. For instance, if I am working with areas and perimeters in my class, I use manipulatives such as rulers, color tiles, and measuring tapes to engage and motivate my students to learn. Implementing this strategy, students
