• Colorado State University
Colorado State University is a leading research university with rich history. It was founded as agricultural college in 1870. It is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Nowadays, Colorado State University offers different degree programs in eight colleges, six schools and online course programs.
As a case analysis, there is used the data (Karen Kaminski and William D. Milheim, 2002) about an online social sciences bachelor's degree in liberal arts via a Course Management System (CMS), at Colorado State University (CSU) between spring of 2000 and summer of 2001.

In this phase of product development, the PD team had a challenge that they had to create a product that required minimal computer competency. Meanwhile, they were asked to include high-quality multimedia components (Case Studies, 2002).
• Marketing
As for marketing, CSU focused primarily on recently graduated and currently enrolled community college students and off-campus students as secondary customers accordingly. CSU students could register to online courses and make payment along with the cost of these courses coming in addition to their regular tuition. It was done due to cannibalization of on-campus university programs with online courses (Karen Kaminski and William D. Milheim, 2002).
According to CSU (Case Studies, 2002), while the program was still defining various details and developing specific student support systems, the program's developers found it challenging to develop full marketing efforts based on existing university deadlines.
• Faculty Issues
In my point of view the most important and attentive part of this case is the faculty issues of the CSU, where was mentioned intellectual property and compensation
In the case of Robert Tolan and Marian Tolan vs. Jeffrey Wayne Cotton, I will be discussing what interest me about this case. I will also deliberating on the liability and criminal liability of this case. The Tolan vs. Cotton case interests me because the United States have so many police that are brutalizing citizens. In some cases the police officers are getting away with it. After reading, reviewing, and studying this case I have learn a lot about the criminal system and laws that men and women should obey. I will explain how the nine judges on the Supreme courts all came to a verdict against the police officer Jeffrey Cotton after he shot an innocent suspect. This people
For Hillsborough Community College to attract the most students and achieve higher retention rates, Differentiated Marketing would be the best practice. Because Hillsborough Community College is predominantly diverse, target marketing groups should include dual-enrolled students, recent high-school graduates, young adults, and career-oriented adults seeking higher education. A smaller marketing group to consider is the mature adult over the age of 60 who are seeking recreational classes. Promotional messages should be developed to target each group in order to increase attraction and retention in each group category. The main marketing focus of HCC has been on the high school market, and not in actively recruiting the adult market (Clarus 16). Though the high school market may always display a greater percentage of students attending HCC, other marketing groups may show an improved interest if promotional messages are targeted to each group, thus increasing overall attendance.
There was one graduate who identified himself as an online student. Since the assumption was made that the students would be affected by social and academic in their persistence, on-line students may have a disadvantage by not having the connections of a fraternity or being a part of a team as a support system to be successful. Another aspect that could be analyzed is the persistenace from students who started at MSU as freshmen, and compare that information with students who transferred from community college or other institutions.
Following the termination of the Colorado State University women’s varsity softball team on June 1, 1992; plaintiffs sought reinstatement on the basis of a Title IX violation ("Roberts v. Colorado State University, 814 F. Supp. 1507 (D. Colo. 1993) :: Justia," 1993). The girls found terminating their sports team to be unjust. The plaintiffs argued financial difficulties and lack of participation and support for the boy’s baseball team did not warrant termination of the softball program. They also argued getting recruited to play Division I level softball afforded them a better chance at improving their future. Most girls had a substantial amount of scholarship money that helped them afford college ("Roberts v. Colorado State University, 814
Thus it is the opinion of this Court that the University of Oklahoma was within its rights to expel the plaintiffs because of their “leadership role” in “a racist and exclusionary chant… which created a hostile educational environment for
Under Colorado case law, any covenant not to compete, which restricts the right of any person to receive compensation for performance of skilled or unskilled labor for any employer shall be void, unless the agreement fits into one of four statutory exceptions, such as the employee qualifying as executive and management personnel. If the agreement fits into one of the four exceptions it must be deemed reasonable in scope and duration, to be enforceable. Is the non-compete Mr. Marin signed, reasonable in scope and duration when he is not allowed to work for a period of two years in the states of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming, Utah, or Kansas in directly or indirectly entering into the employ of, or rendering any service to, any person, partnership, association, corporation, or other entity engaged in cultivating cannabis; processing, extracting, or manufacturing cannabis concentrates, edibles, or other products; or dispensing medical or recreational cannabis.
The authors analyzed statistics of online learning to determine what they mean. They looked at the growth of online options in institutions. They also compared online learning with traditional learning to determine if it was as effective.
On June 7, 1965, the United States Supreme Court ruled that it was the constitutional right of married females to be prescribed birth control. This ruling found fault in the Connecticut state ban on the use of contraceptives. The 1879 Connecticut law was ruled as unconstitutional because it infringed on citizen’s rights to privacy. This case is studied to this day because it concerns the rights and liberties of individuals.
In today’s society, most state colleges have become more comparable to businesses rather than universities. It is a competition between them to see who can
A few decades ago, the notion that nature had legal standing with the same rights as people existed on the fringes of the environmental movement. But as a recent spate of legal decisions show, attitudes towards ecological systems are changing.

Community colleges have grown over the years and now play a significant role in higher education since their inception in the early 1900s. Community colleges initially began as junior colleges with the intention to “offer a 2-year college degree to students who may not wish to pursue their baccalaureate and to provide high school graduates easier access to higher education” (Morset, 2013, p. 320). Cohen, Brawer & Kisker (2013) indicate that community colleges are “any not-for-profit institution regionally accredited toward the associates in arts or the associates in science as its
This case study discusses the differences between Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and other well-known universities such as Berkley, Harvard and Stanford. For instance, SNHU College of Online and Continuing Education is not vanity project, unlike other big name colleges such as Harvard and Stanford who offers online classes for its purpose of mostly a branding exercise (Pearce & Robinson, 2015). Furthermore, SNHU differs from other colleges in their admissions processes, graduation rates, lower prices, and the way they address quality in their programs (Kingkade, 2014). SNHU is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic private, non-profit universities in the country (Pearce et al., 2015). According
Class Pass hopes to achieve another 10% for the next 2 semester to reach a total of 17% by year 3 . Currently in the year 2017, there are 33,198 students enrolled in CSU with an average growth rate of 1% each semester. With the emerging college student enrolments, Class Pass can capture more of the population with aggressive promotions and word-of-mouth advertising strategies throughout the next 3 years. Furthermore, we will expand to other universities on the second semester. Lastly, Class Pass hopes to acquire a minimum of 95 advertisers to purchase our advertising packages for the
