Samantha pulled the hood of her black cloak over her head, walking quickly and quietly through the streets of Camelot. She was following the Knights of Camelot to where Morgana was suspected to be hiding. The dress she was wearing made walking fast slightly more difficult than usual, but it was dark and that meant it was less likely that she would be seen. She was following them because she was worried about Mordred. Mordred was her courtier and he was also a Druid. He had been allied with Morgana before, and Samantha was worried that, if given the proper incentives, he would join her again. So there she was, trudging through the forest, hoping to get to the Knights before Morgana did. She heard hoof beats up ahead, and she broke into a run, …show more content…
It was true that he felt a bond with the other Knights, but he often wondered if any of them would care if he just up and disappeared one day. Then he thought of Samantha. He reached a hand into his pocket and felt a cold silver band. It was an engagement ring. He had been planning to propose to her. He knew she'd never forgive him if he joined Morgana. Meanwhile, Morgana had taken Mordred's moment of hesitation to start casting another spell. Hidden in the trees, Samantha didn't know what to do. Did she sit by and watch as Mordred got killed or reveal herself, letting Morgana know she had magic, but saving Mordred? She decided on the latter, racing into the clearing and jumping in front of Mordred. She said a shielding spell, but still took most of the force of Morgana’s blast. She screamed and fell hard, hitting her head on the ground. Mordred’s cry echoed her own as he rushed to her side. She was unconscious and Mordred feared the worst. He turned to Morgana, anger boiling within him. He shouted a spell, throwing her into a nearby tree and knocking her out. He turned back to Samantha, picking her up and carrying her back to where the other Knights were.
“We have to get back to the castle!” He yelled. “We need to get her to Gaius!”
“Slow down Mordred,” Arthur said, “Tell us what happened.”
“I don't know! It was Morgana, she used her magic against me, and I hesitated! Samantha came out of nowhere and jumped in front of the blast and….and it looks bad.”

They raced to the castle and when they arrived, Mordred rushed Samantha to her chambers in Gaius’s room.
“Gaius!” He called out frantically.
“What is it, Mordred?” Gaius asked.
“It's Samantha. She got hit with Morgana’s magic.” Mordred replied, out of breath and still panicking.
“Lay her down on her bed, I'll do what I can.” Gaius said, immediately going to get medicines.
Merlin came running into the room, yelling “Where’s Samantha? Let me see my sister!” He came to an abrupt stop at the sight of Mordred sitting by his sister’s bed, holding her hand. “You.” Merlin hissed. “You did this to her.”
“No!” Mordred exclaimed. “It was Morgana, she sent some spell at Samantha, nobody could do anything to block
Martin portrays Mordred’s arrogance, fickle attitude, and disregard for the wellbeing of Camelot perfectly, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats wondering what will happen next. When Mordred first arrives in Camelot, he sings about the Knights of the Roundtable and their devotion to following the seven virtues, or as he calls them the seven deadly virtues. This scene is Martin’s strongest performance due to his portrayal of Mordred’s disregard of the values the knights hold, leaving his character’s true intentions shrouded in mystery, intriguing the audience. Sadly, not all of Martin’s scenes are as strong as this one. When Mordred reveals Lancelot and Guenevere’s relationship to the rest of the knights, he commands the knights to arrest them. I felt Martin had a forceful tone in his command, causing a different emotion, rather than fear for Lancelot and Guenevere, to be
“We brought you here because Anna is studying you in class, and needs to ask you some questions .” Paisley said with a smile. “
“I’m gonna go after Sarah!” Luke screamed over the noise and without second thought, he took off running. My eyes went wide as he was immediately lost in the crowd of walkers.
“Medics here, who needs help?” he questioned. It’s almost like Sasha never heard me tell him I was fine.
“Did I scare you back there?” asks a voice from behind Drewyer. Drewyer jumps and looks behind him only to see that it was just Meriwether Lewis.
"Sierra, it's too dangerous at night, if your sister had gotten hurt, no one would have been out there to help her." Jennie said reasonably. "I can't think of it!"
“But, where did they come from?" she asked. He glanced at her, smiled, but did not answer her question
“Yeah, she’s in cryo for now but will be fine. For you, I have a special dose of this cellular restructuring serum that should do the trick.”
“She tried to pull a weapon on me.” Sabra said. “You can blame her own actions for where’s she at now.”
She shouldn’t do this but couldn’t stop. Magic for personal gain never ended well. Things should play out in their own way, not as human will concocts. Graciéla’s image flickered then faded. The old one wouldn’t give up on a woman who’d often given up on herself. Eve smiled slightly. She was a woman whose powers could burn bright, and then go dark.
"Mike what the hell was that? I was in the middle of an urgent answer!" Alysha yelled with flailing hands.
“I don’t know, but she hadn’t left her house, or answered her door for three days. And the lights remained on the entire time. So, I thought something must be wrong.”
Not hesitating once to reject her father’s request, she dashed down the stairs, her dress rustling behind her. She noticed that her father was not alone. With him stood a knight. He was handsome, but wore clothes with holes and tears.
Thrashing and fighting with all her will, she kicked one man and punched the other square in the nose. She broke free for an instant, but two steps later, one man tackled her to the ground and gagged her. The gag quieted her screams and tears came to her eyes. She felt a sharp kick to the ribs, and the pain was so stunning she couldn’t catch her breath. These men weren’t just going to rape her; they were going to kill her. Why hadn’t she listened to Perceval and allowed him to send an escort?
Genevieve nearly jumped out of her seat. “You want to use me as your weapon?I have no power what so ever!”
