To get the formula you will need to click the F5 cell and type =SUM(B5:F5) formula. This will give the daily total for each expense. Once you are done with the first row you will need to enter the formula into the remaining rows. As an example you will type in F6 cell =SUM(B6:F6). This calculates each cell B6-F6. As for the formula that allows you to get the total of expenses for each category weekly, you will enter in the B13 cell and type =SUM(B5:B13) continue to do this for each cell. Which in the Hotels column you would type =SUM(C5:C13). This calculates C5-C13 and gives the total. To show which receipts need to be printed out for the accountant I would advise you to type =IF(F5>100,” YES”,”) So Bill can now highlight G5, press copy then …show more content…
As I suggested in the business proposal a wireless connection will allow not only yourself but your employers to access the internet which will help with sending/receiving emails as many other things that the business will need from the internet. This is also a great way to be able to use not only a computer but a phone or a tablet and even your printers, so your employers are not stationed in one spot the whole time. When using the wireless internet, you will need the router which I also suggested in the business proposal to help you connect too. It serves as a router between the home LAN and the ISP, routing the traffic between the computers within your LAN and the …show more content…
This is why I mentioned the above idea of getting a security device on all of your computers. There are multiple popular and free choices all you need to do is google, my personal favorite is McAfee which most of the time already comes on the computer. A popular and free choice is Microsoft Security Essentials. Just go onto the Windows website www.microsoft.Windows.com; protecting yourself from bad internet users can affect your business as they can create viruses and get into the work files. There are two network protocols that are used to manage devices and servers; they are called Secure Shell (SSH) and Telnet. SSH offers protection for users against anyone with bad intentions as it utilizes encryption to protect the traffic stream. Telnet has no security measures as it transmits all the data in plain text, including passwords. This is major security issue as a data sent in plain text can be captured in route and

D1. Occasionally I act as a duty engineer for work carried outside of production hours. I chair the weekend work meetings allowing me to understand requirements for additional support. A printed work package detailing the jobs is given to each member of the meeting, information and recommendations are exchanged verbally. Post-meeting tasks involve co-ordination activities via face to face and telephone communication. At the end of the shift it is necessary to have a final review with the maintenance department to sign off completed work on facilities, giving us the opportunity to resolve any technical matters and agree any follow up items. I record these meetings using 'minutes', the process allows us to plan the next steps and assignment of
In the UK, it is a must to follow the law of equality whilst employing any person for the job, according to section 159, positive action: Recruitment and selection of equality and anti-discrimination law (Butler, 2016). Therefore, according to this law if a person is having similar qualities and qualifications required as per the job description, is already working with the organisation, the organisation cannot recruit the person from outside and decline the promotion to the employee. If in the Debenhams department store there are more than one employee, who are experienced and eligible for the post of floor manager; it would be unethical and illegal to promote one employee over the other employee. Therefore, an organisation needs to make all
Hello Everyone! I have been looking forward to learning about educational law for quite some time now and I like the way our syllabus is formatted into categories, which I think will help me build schema. Although I do not have any prior knowledge of New Jersey’s Homeschooling Law, I was very intrigued researching and reading about it. Sadly, I was not surprised by New Jersey’s liberal perspective on homeschooling; however, some states requirements did surprise me. Overall I felt that New Jersey took a cavalier attitude toward children who are being homeschooled and I do not feel it is in the best interest of the child or state to allow such loose guidelines.
The client in this report is Richard Potter. He is a London Black Cab Driver, he was chosen as the client due to the fact he would use the application on a daily basis because his current Taxi Cab does not include a built-in trip computer as standard and one would be helpful to him while at work to give him useful information about his journeys and the vehicle, which he relies on to produce any sort of salary since he is self-employed. His job consists of making journeys of varying lengths between destinations across London and the surrounding boroughs, occasionally on longer journeys outside of the capital such as to Stansted or Gatwick Airport. The application would be built with him in mind, meaning it must be easy and quick to

Download speed – the amount of data the user can download per second and is capped by their ISP. The slower the download speed for the user the slower the user can download the webpages and assets to view the website so the company will have to have to take their customers download speeds into account to decide what size of files is appropriate for their audience to access their website as quickly as possible.

Of course you can create and format documents using Windows 8. Since its earliest versions, Windows is bundled with a very useful text editing tool called WordPad that it considers as a light version of a Microsoft Word, and a more advanced app than other simple text editors like Notepad. This tool allows you to create, edit, format, view, and print text documents, you can use it to type memos, create quick reports and other simple documents. For example, if you want to create a document in WordPad, you only have to open WordPad by clicking the Start button, typing WordPad in the search box, and clicking WordPad in the list of results. Then, you can write the text you
The introduction of company policies and procedures has reduced the overall costs to the businesses. The introduction of safety procedures reduced injuries to staff making it so they had less time off increasing production. Enforcing a maintenance procedure meant the equipment breaks down less also reducing risks of injuries to staff and increasing production. Having set procedures also takes the thinking out of the hands of the staff everyone is treated the same and everyone knows what is required of them, and who to seek out when there is an issue. Companies have the primary duty of care to ensure staff are working in a workplace that doesn’t pose a risk to the health and safety of staff. A WHS management plan informs the relevant individuals
